March was a pretty stressful month for our family. Just days after our baby shower for sweet Baby S, we learned that she had heart arrhythmia, which threw us for a major loop. We were so concerned for her, still being 4-5 weeks out from our due date. We had to have her heart monitored (in utero) 2x a week, which resulted in lots of extra doctor's appointments, and bumped our c-section date up a few days early. I definitely needed to relax as much as possible, so I wouldn't stress too much and raise further complications for myself or the baby.
I was excited to receive the March box from Peaches & Petals. I definitely needed a little pick-me-up, and this is one of my very favorite subscription boxes for women. I couldn't wait to see what was included in the March P & P Box. This was my 5th box from Peaches & Petals, and I have loved each previous box. Each box is always filled with fun and pampering products, which as a busy mom, I appreciate.

At first glance, I loved what I saw when I looked into the March Peaches & Petals Box. Everything was so colorful! I saw a mug, a colorful spa product, and a coloring book! Woo hoo!

I am sort of an obnoxious collector of mugs- I love them! I love to have mugs of all shapes and sizes, and love for them to be intricate, and fun. This cute mug is lavender on the inside, and the outside shows a fruit loop cereal heart with a saying, 'Be a fruit loop in a world full of Cheerios.' I love this saying- it's a fun reminder for me to be myself. The mug handle has two little slots for a ceramic spoon, which came with the mug. Unfortunately, my spoon arrived broken, so I had to try to glue it back together. So far, so good- I hope it'll keep holding, because it's so adorable!

This was a great item to receive! It was perfect timing, too- I actually tossed it into my hospital bag, and used it while we were at the hospital, having Baby S.
A fun and colorful zippered pouch- every gal needs to have these on hand!
I love small zippered pouches. I actually like to have a few on hand to stash my feminine products in, so I can just toss them into my handbags. This one is the perfect size, and it's a discreet way to tote along those monthly essentials. Of course- you can use a tote like this for just about anything you like- cosmetics, snacks for the kids, secret chocolate stash for mommy, etc.
Eye Magic Instant Eye Shadow
Also included in the March box, was a sample of Eye Magic Instant Eye Shadow in Pearl. I am pretty quick with my eyeshadow, but this is a lot of fun. Since I once again have a newborn at home, this will help cut down on my morning prep time. If I can keep my makeup routine to about five minutes, I'm good to go.
Sassy Fras Splatter Paint Bath Bomb
One of these days, I'll get around to feeling like I can manage getting into the tub again. Everything is so painful for the first few weeks after a C-section. I know that when I am ready to take that first soak in the tub, this colorful bath bomb will make me feel amazing!
Everyone Loves Coloring- Birds
Adult coloring books are definitely on trend right now. It seemed like everyone in my family got them as gifts for Christmas in 2015. I love to color, but just don't usually take or make the time to sit down and do it. I've heard how relaxing it can be, and always loved coloring as a child. This is a beautiful coloring book, filled with all sorts of lovely birds, with intricate designs. It even included a set of mini coloring pencils with a built-in sharpener.
Once I regain some regular sleep and feel like I can spare a few minutes, I want to work in some daily coloring into my schedule. It's also a great way for me to bond with B, my five-year-old son, who is feeling a bit left out with his new baby sis at home. I am making a big effort to spend one on one time with just him each day. Building in some creative coloring time together is a great way for us to relax, unwind, and spend time together.

I felt like the March box was a lot of fun. I never know what types of products will be included in a P & P monthly box, and I love being surprised each month. Having a Peaches & Petals Box delivered to my door ech month is such a treat. As moms, we sort of take a back seat when it comes to pampering ourselves, so we can take care of and provide for our families. Peaches & Petals is one of those special little things just for mommy, and that makes me smile.
