I love receiving little surprises, don't you? Well, I'm talking about the nice surprises in life, like sweet little treats, an unexpected phone call from an old friend, or a special gift. I look forward to receiving a special piece of mail each month, which contains a bunch of little surprises to brighten my day. There are several monthly subscription boxes which I have tried out, and enjoyed, but one of my top favorites is Peaches & Petals.

Peaches and Petals is a member based monthly subscription service that hand-curates each box with items that exemplify the woman who’s not afraid of adventure. She’s open-minded, free-spirited, and loves relentlessly. Each box is delivered monthly.

The February Peaches & Petals Box was all about love!

I couldn't wait to see what might be inside of the February Peaches & Petals box. My husband and I don't really celebrate Valentine's Day, so this was my sweet treat for the month of February!

I loved the packaging this month. All of the items included in the box were nicely wrapped with cute tissue paper. Peaches and Petals sticks with a monthly theme, and they really go all out to ensure that their subscribers love what they receive.

First up in the box, a recipe book!

Delicious recipes for whoopie pies!

I've never really thought about making whoopie pies before, and after taking a look through this scrumptious book, I am left wondering why! This book is filled with lts of recipes and colorful photos of delicious-looking whoopie pies! They'll be perfect for our spring and summer family outings and gatherings. We love to picnic in the springtime, so I'll definitely be whipping some of these recipes up to take along with us when we make plans for a day trip!

A sweet pink candle was also included in the February box.

What gal doesn't love candles? This little lovely is a beautiful shade of pink, and is a Sweet Spun Sugar scent. I haven't burned it yet- it's sitting in my bedroom, and with the lid off, smells so lovely! It's a pretty little accent to all of the pink that has been entering our home lately, as we await the arrival of our sweet baby girl.

Lip Smackers!

I have to confess- I haven't seen Lip Smackers in a long, long time! I used to love their lip balms when I was growing up, so this was a sort of throw back surprise for me. Not only that, this trio of lip balms were flavored like Girl Scout cookies! I just polished off the rest of a box of Thin Mints, and now I can enjoy that same delicious taste in a lip balm! Other flavors included were Chocolate Peanut Butter, and Coconut Caramel Stripes. Yum!

Love Birds Salt and Pepper Shakers

I thought this was such a cute item to include- a cute little salt and pepper shaker set!

Handmade sugar scrub duo

I love products that pamper, so this sugar scrub duo was a real treat for me. These last weeks of my pregnancy have left me so exhausted, one of the best ways for me to relax is by taking a warm bath. My poor feet have really taken a beating, and the sugar scrub is helping to exfoliate them, and bring some life back to my tired skin. Both of these scrubs were very nicely scented, and very moisturizing.

Funky pillow cover

I also received this funky pillow cover! It's a cool design, I just wish it had tied in a bit better with the love theme. It doesn't exactly go with anything in my house, so I will probably give this to a friend or family member who the colors are better suited for. I thought it was a cool idea to include a pillow cover, though- as they can be very expensive!

Included in each box are postcards explaining more information about the products that are sent in each monthly shipment. I always enjoy reading more about the products included, and the businesses behind them.

To receive a box from Peaches & Petals is always a treat. As parents, my husband and I sacrifice a lot so our kids can have the things they need. It's nice to receive little surprises like this that make me feel like I have splurged, when in reality, I haven't. I enjoyed the February box so  much, and can't wait to see what's included in the March box!
