Right before the holidays, I was really struggling with what I ought to gift to some of the special women in my life. I don't like to give meaningless gifts, just to have something to give. All of the women in my life- family and friends alike, are extra busy. Seldom do they take the time to slow down and pamper themselves. I knew that the December Box would include a kimono because I received a special preview card in the November Box, which let subscribers know that this extra special treat would be included. I am a big fan of robes and kimonos, so this was a special treat, indeed! There were a lot of other fun goodies tucked inside of the box, as well, and I couldn't wait to explore!

The Peaches & Petals December Box included a beautiful kimono, lavender bath, cooling spa mask, Lindor chocolate, and a  pretty jewelry set.

Let's start with the chocolate, shall we?

I love chocolate and don't know a woman who doesn't. Lindor is smooth, delicious chocolate, and it's a wonderful anytime treat! I tend to turn to a piece of yummy chocolate when I need a pick-me-up in the middle of the day. Lindt/Lindor is a favorite chocolate brand of mine. We visit their retail store every time we're in NJ for a visit, and we stock up on their chocolate truffles! Yum!

c.Booth Lavender Mineral Bath Soak

I don't take a lot of baths anymore (though I wish I had the time), but my sister and sister-in-law both love baths. I knew that this bath soak would be awesome for my sister, who works long, hard days, and then comes home to care for her hubby and two pups. She definitely deserves to be pampered. The lavender scent is nice and has a calming effect, so it relaxes her before bedtime, and then she can have a good night's rest.

Spa Bella Eye Mask

The eye mask was a perfect gift for my sister-in-law. She is a new mom and isn't getting much sleep. She loves to be pampered, and I thought that this mask, which can offer hot or cold relief, would help reduce the appearance of puffy or tired eyes from all of those sleepless nights. The mask can be popped into the freezer to become cool, or can be microwaved to be used warm.

This pretty kimono, I must say- I kept for myself!

I love the gorgeous design on this lovely silky kimono!

The kimono is a beautiful blue, decorated with pretty floral designs. I think it's perfect for spring, and I will look forward to wearing it after Baby S arrives. I plan on taking it to the hospital with me since we'll be there for a few days. C-section recovery isn't much fun, but at least, I'll have a nice new robe to make me feel a bit more human after surgery, and while getting acquainted with our beautiful new baby girl.

Last up, a very pretty jewelry set.

The jewelry I received was a pretty set of green statement earrings, with an accompanying necklace. The necklace is tired and offers three lovely layers of different stones. Both the necklace and earrings are set in a gold plated chain and posts. This nice set is perfect for gifting, or to hang onto and wear with a casual outfit or for a special occasion.

Each month's box will vary with different items all to tickle your senses. P & P loves hand-selecting items in beauty and fashion accessories. Items could be trendy accessories and jewelry like scarves, hats, earrings, necklaces, bracelets such as rope bracelets or pearl bracelets, rings, watches, new beauty products like dry shampoos, eye makeup remover, shades of nail polish, eyeshadow and blush, pampering products like mud masks, skin restoring gels/creams, and who knows, we could be really adventurous the next month! Each box will contain 3-5 items and some months they may feel super excited and throw in an additional item!
