You Won't Mind Rainy Days Spent in Oaki Rain Boots! #MBPHGG17

Thank you to Oaki for providing me with product in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts shared are my own.

I'm not usually a fan of rainy days. They tend to get me down, as I thrive on sunshine. The rain can cause a lot of problems and throw kinks into my day. If at all possible, I avoid going out in the rain. I don't like driving in it, and I hate winding up with wet pants and ruined shoes! My feet will find rain puddles, no matter how hard they try to avoid them. These days, instead of singing 'Rain, rain go away,' I'm actually singing a different tune, and it's all thanks to Oaki!

Thanksgiving Morning Musings

Happy Thanksgiving! As I type, I have my turkey in the oven, and I'm about to start peeling potatoes. Stuffing cooked overnight in my slow cooker, and green bean casserole will go in while the turkey rests.

Cherry Blooms Holiday Bundles Make the Season Merry and Bright! + Holiday Bundle #Giveaway #MBPHGG17

Do you ever have one of those tough, not-so-great mom days? I've had a lot of those lately. My kids have been sick more times than I can count this school year, and things keep happening, keeping me from doing a lot of my important daily tasks. Chalk it up to the life of a mom who tried to be and do it all. Some days, I don't even feel like a person. I feel like I've lost the best version of myself, and don't recognize myself when I look in the mirror. Taking a little time for self-care makes a big difference, and it's amazing what a little spot of makeup can do for moms who are always feeling less than glamorous.

A Sweet Twist on Traditional Stuffing: Cranberry Apple Sausage Stuffing #Recipe

Sponsored by Aunt Sue’s Raw & Unfiltered Honey. All thoughts are my own.

No Thanksgiving spread would be complete without a delicious stuffing. This year, my family is gathering at my mother-in-law's house for Thanksgiving dinner. We decided to divide up all of the side dishes, and I volunteered to make pies and the stuffing. Here's the thing- I've never made stuffing before. I love stuffing, and am a fan of all different kinds of stuffing. This year, I wanted to put my own spin on the traditional Thanksgiving side dish and dress it up a bit.

Difficult Questions Your Kids Might Spring On You

Kids can say the funniest things sometimes!

And they are also very inquisitive and can ask some really pressing questions. Often, those questions can be very difficult for grownups to answer, especially when the questions are of a very adult nature and it isn’t wise to give the kids the full answer. In fact, in these situations, it can be very difficult to know how to answer these searching questions.

Here are some difficult questions that your kids might spring on you, and how you should try and answer them.
