Recently, one of my friends found out she is pregnant, after a very difficult journey to conceive. She is very excited about becoming a mom this fall and being able to participate in future mother's days!
Today, we had lunch and talked about baby products for a bit. There are so many brands out there, and moms are becoming very particular about the products that they wish to invest and trust around their babies.

Today, I gifted the Parent's Choice Bottle Warmer to my friend so that she can start off fulfilling items on her registry! She was very excited to see this brand as she has done some research of great baby products and told me that she had debated between Grownsy and another brand for her registry! Now she can erase a bottle warmer off her list!
Full disclaimer: I am not testing this product out as I want it to be completely new for my friend and her expected baby. I did open the package to ensure that everything was in it, though!
This particular model arrived in a gray color and looks very simple to use, which is essential for new and tired parents!
The bottle basket rests in the base of the machine. There is a cover that goes over the basket, so ensure that the magic works while the bottle is being warmed. This particular machine has the buttons on the front so that it is easy to use and turn on; including the power button and temp controls.
Why a bottle warmer?
While it seems unnecessary to get a bottle warmer, it actually does make life easier. For babies that prefer warm milk, bottle warmers can control heat through specific temperature settings. Microwaves the stove top method might make bottles too hot, or even do damage to bottle parts, in some instances.
Bottle Warmers also help sanitize and sterilize baby bottles, which is important to prevent growth of harmful bacteria. This is recommended for newborns, preemies, and in areas where water quality might be of concern.
Living on the coast, our water isn't always safe, so my friend loved this included feature!
The Parent's choice bottle warmer
It comes with an electric base, a bottle shelf, a top-lid, and stain remover with a small cup. I always recommend fully reading the manuals for new products. A lot of us love to figure it out ourselves, me included, but reading the product manuals does actually save time and doesn't create room for error (or waste, in the occasion that your valuable milk has to be tossed).
This warmer seems fairly easy to use as it gives instructions with photos (which is appreciated) on how to set up the machine, choose the function, adjust time & temp, and warm up the milk.
All settings are right on the front of the machine with identifying markers, so it won't be too difficult to make sure you are hitting the correct one when you are running on little sleep and energy.
This bottle warmer offers a few features for silicone, glass, or even plastic bottles and milk bags. Warming settings vary for bottles, but most are warmed in 3–7 minutes under the fast setting. The machine also offers selections for warming and thawing food as well.
Be sure to follow instructions and use distilled water for all the settings.
It offers warming settings of "fast" (3-7 minutes), "constant" (24 H warming), "Food" (allow 1.5–3 hrs for baby food), and "sterilize" (bottles and pacifiers).
The bottle shelf (basket) is used for all the settings, although if you are wishing to sterilize bottles, you will place bottles upside down versus right side up.
How to Use Bottle Warmer1. Pour 40ml of distilled water into the bottle warmer. (Using distilled water is recommended to prevent scale buildup.)
2. Place the milk bottle and basket into the bottle warmer.
3. Press power to turn on. Digital LCD lights up. Select "Fast" function. Warming starts in 5 seconds.
Time & Shut-Off
Be sure to check the time charts for your bottle type to prevent overheating of milk and food. This model also contains an auto-shut off feature, so no worries about forgetting to turn it off! The auto shut off feature also prevents burning and dry-boiling too.
Cleaning is very easy too! Unplug and cool before attempting to clean. It's recommended to descale using a citric acid cleaner and vinegar with the descaling process. Be sure to read instructions on this process.
I am so excited that baby H will be here sometime in the late summer. He will certainly enjoy his warm bottles when his mom & dad use this handy dandy warmer!
