In the bakery business since 1901, Aunt Millie's bring you freshly baked loaves of bread every time! They have every kind of bread you can imagine. Check them out!
Family-owned and operated, Aunt Millie’s started their first bakery in Fort Wayne, Indiana. They started out making wafers and then added breads, cakes, and cookies to our repertoire. Eventually, buns, breads, and rolls rose to the forefront, and they’re still making them today! They continue to infuse Midwestern values of hard work, humility, dedication to quality, and a family-first mentality into every step of bread making, from research and development through the baking process to the final product: quality, delicious buns, rolls, and loaves of bread that you can be proud to enjoy. They are committed to using healthy ingredients in each loaf they make.
In an effort to provide nutrition to families, they have partnered with Feeding America food banks and other food pantries throughout the Midwest. Their holiday food bank donation program has averaged 50,000 loaves of fresh bread donated each year, with over 570,000 loaves donated since 2009. Other donations of gleaned products are ongoing throughout the year.
I am insulin resistant and watch the carbs I intake. I was so excited to try Aunt Millie's Live Carb Smart breads! They would help in my desire for sandwiches and bread without all the carbs.
My son made a delicious cheese soup and the Live Carb Smart Dinner Rolls were the perfect side to complete the meal. It was wonderful to be able to enjoy bread with my soup again! We also tried the Live Carb Smart Hamburger Buns and their Live Carb Smart White Bread. Both were devoured quickly by the family and no one even realized they were low carb. Whoo hoo!
My husband and I were delighted with the Live Carb Smart 5 Seed Bread. It was definitely our favorite! It paired wonderfully with Justin's Honey Almond Butter.
