I've been spending a lot of time outdoors with my kids this winter season and my skin is struggling. The heat on the inside of my home and the brisk air outdoors is a combination for dull, dry skin for this girl.

My skin always seems to thrive in the Summer and Fall. Once the heat is turned on inside of my home, the skin on my entire body becomes dry and also oily in some areas (this is a thing). I will get occasional breakouts and it's hard for me to find a good balance for my face, especially. 

Trusting Goddess Garden for our family sunscreen needs, I was intrigued about their skincare line. They were kind enough to send over some products for me to try and so far, I've been really liking my results!

I just want to share a few of my absolute favorites with you. We all know it's important to use daily sunscreen on our faces, even in the winter. If you didn't know, now you know. The sun shines all year and we need protection from those harmful rays even when we are not hanging out in the garden or at the pool. I'm disappointed to say this concept took me until my 30's to fully latch onto. However, now that I know a little more about skincare, I'm taking better care of my skin. 

I love spending time outside with my boys. We take our big puppy for walks while the boys ride along on their bikes. It's one of my favorite winter activities! On this particular day, it was a bit overcast and brisk. In the past, it wouldn't have occurred to me to apply sunscreen before an outing like this, but now I do. I applied the Goddess Garden Face The Day SPF 30 Tinted Moisturizer in Light/Medium, a bit of translucent powder and that was IT! This moisturizer is incredibly hydrating and adds just a wash of color, evening out my skin tone. This moisturizer is sensitive skin safe, vegan and cruelty free. 

Paired with the Erase The Day Mineral Removing Cleanser and Dream Repair Brightening Night Cream, you're in for a winning combination of products. 

My skin feels soft, firm, clear and hydrated. I will definitely be repurchasing these products in the future! For those of you who may be concerned about any added fragrances, there are none. What you smell is a very faint, natural aroma from essential oils and organic, earthy ingredients. There are no harsh chemicals in the products which is something I appreciate. 

Instead of an expensive eye cream, just add an extra layer of Night Cream around your eyes and pat in gently with your ring finger until absorbed. Most eye creams typically have the same ingredients as good quality night creams and moisturizers but are marketed differently. A little of this night cream goes a long way. It is intensely hydrating and feels amazing on my skin. For $24.99, I would say this is a middle of the road price point and definitely worth it.

We have always used all-natural products for our kiddos and with everything we know now about how harmful some of the mainstream chemicals are, there is no reason not to.
