Earth Day is a day in which we observe and show support for environmental protection.  We show our appreciation for this planet that is home to so many different types of beings.
We teach our kids not to litter and to recycle as part of an ongoing effort to protect our Earth.  Today we will be hiking and observing nature as an effort of appreciation to what surrounds us.
