The holidays are inching near! I have been so busy decorating my home for the holidays, and have been in a frenzy trying to get everything wrapped and baked, attend all of the holiday festivities happening in our family, and of course, I am trying to take it easy here and there to actually enjoy the holiday season. As I finish up my holiday shopping this year, I am shying away from gifts that are just being given to have something to give to someone. I am big on totes! My husband always asks me why I need large totes and handbags, and I simply show him what I wind up holding onto and carrying around for everyone else... are any of my personal items even in my purse? I am always doing a balancing act- juggling holding a toddler, grabbing my son's hand, and keeping up with a purse, diaper bag, keys, sippy cup, etc... my tote is my lifesaver!

One of the biggest draws of the beautiful Camel Aubrey Purse is the small zippered pocket. I will not use a bag that doesn't have a closure or a zippered pouch or pocket. I have too many things like bobby pins, lip gloss and such, which I need to be able to quickly locate.

Another spectacular holiday gift idea- a beautiful Family Wooden Name Monogram! I have long sought after one of these beautiful wooden name monograms for my own home. I have envisioned one one my front porch, or even in my dining or family room. They are so pretty, and arrive unfinished with a large Initial of the family's last name, and then the family name scrolling across the width of the name monogram.

The neat thing about this, other than the fact that it is gorgeous on its own, is that you can paint it or stain it to suit your color preferences or decor! You could even weatherproof it and seal it and then hang it outside. It's a lovely decorative accent.
