Have you ever had a time when just what you needed shows up unexpectedly? That's exactly what happened with my shipment from Brillo. Shortly before my new sponges arrived, my kitchen sink stopped draining. One thing led to another and soon my counters, floor, and everything nearby were a total mess! My older sponges and dish brush needed to go straight to the trash, and almost magically their replacements were delivered to my front porch.
I'm sure you have all heard of Brillo, it's one of America's most recognized brands. Did you know that it's been around since the year 1913? In the early 1900's, aluminum pots and pans were replacing cast iron cookware. The coal-fired stoves used in most homes blackened the pots, making then extremely difficult to clean. A cookware salesman and his brother-in-law, a jeweler, discovered that jeweler's rouge (soap and fine steel wool from Germany) could be used to clean the pots and pans! The idea took off and soon Brillo was a household name.

The Sponge Wipes came in a set of three and each sponge is a different color. I love this because I can color code depending on what the sponge is used for; pink for dishes, purple for counter tops. The large size covers more area which cuts down on cleaning time. Since they are so thin, they are more flexible and dry fast.

Easy job for Brillo
The Steel Wool Soap Pads are incredibly versatile! I was able to use them on my Pyrex dish after roasting vegetables. I made the mistake of leaving the dish overnight, it was a gross mess! The steal wool made scrubbing a breeze and the soap inside cut right through the grease. With little effort, the dish was like new.

I decided to put Brillo to the ultimate test! These stains have been around since before we rented our apartment, I had given up on trying to remove them.
With a little elbow grease, I was finally able to get our stove to shine!
With their Wedge Edges and non scratch scrub side, these sponges are perfect to have in your bathroom. They are gentle but effective at scrubbing grout and other hard to clean areas. Sanitize and make your bathroom sparkle!
