With summer just around the corner, I am stepping up my sandals game. If you've been following for a while, you probably know that when it comes to apparel and footwear, versatility and comfort are key for me. It's hard to stay on top of little ones who are always on the go when you're in uncomfortable shoes. Once the first sign of spring shows up, I am ready to ditch my beloved boots so I can bare my toes in a pretty pair of sandals. Through the years, many of my favorite styles of sandals and flip flops have been from Tidewater Sandals.

Not all sandals and flip flops are created equally. I love slide sandals but have to be able to wear something that's comfy, stylish, and supportive. Tidewater Sandals are my stylish go-to sandals for spring and summer (and if you're a southern gal like me, fall, too!). Tidewater brought their lovely ribbon sandals to the market in 2002, and many customers discovered Tidewater while on their vacations. The response to Tidewater's lightweight, comfortable sandals was so wonderful! Today, Tidewater matches whimsical designs with the comfort and style that their customers desire, and their new 2017 sandal line is absolutely fantastic!

I love the funky strap design of the Cape Cod Slide. I received these sandals in black, and I have already worn them at least 20 times. They're so pretty, and I love the shiny glossy look they give off. The cross straps make the coolest design. I haven't seen a design like this on any other sandals, and they are certainly far different from any other sandals that I own.

The Cape Code Slide is so easy to slip on, and so comfortable to wear all day long. I have enjoyed wearing these with jeans, with shorts, and with dresses and skirts. I have a family beach vacation coming up in a couple of weeks, and I am excited to pack these sandals and wear them on our trip. They are casual enough that I can wear them out for a day of sightseeing, or at the aquarium. I can also wear them with a summery dress when we head out to dinner.

These beauties cushion the feet, so you feel like you're walking on air!

The comfort provided by the Cape Cod Slide Sandals can't be beaten. I wore these out for a day of outlet shopping recently. If you've ever spent a Saturday outlet shopping with your partner or spouse and kids, complete with stroller and a baby carrier, you know that your feet may very well be aching at the end of the experience. I was so pleased that my feet were very comfortable the entire day, and I didn't want or need to take my sandals off once we made it back to the car.

I am making room in my closet for even more Tidewater Sandals. You might say that I am a Tidewater addict- I have about ten pairs of Tidewater Sandals! My husband even has a pair of men's Tidewater Sandals, and he loves them! He's planning on bringing them to the beach! I'm never surprised when someone asks me where I got my Tidewater Sandals. They are sold online and in specialty shops and boutiques. One of my favorite local boutiques in China Grove, NC sells Tidewater Sandals, and I was so excited to see them there!

I have certain pairs that I take to the beach, wear to the pool, and others that I like to mix and match with different casual and dressier outfits. We're going to be taking a lot of trips this summer, so I am going to rely on my comfy Tidewater Sandals a lot!
