May and June are months of celebration! It seems that everything happens in these months:

Wow- that's a lot of celebrating, right!? I love any excuse for a family get-together or party! We have certainly had our share of special celebrations lately, and we have more to come! In the May Peaches & Petals Box, there were tons of goodies to help us plan the ultimate family celebration!

I was excited to receive the May box from Peaches & Petals. I definitely needed a little pick-me-up, and this is one of my very favorite subscription boxes for women. A celebratory surprise awaits!

I never know what's going to be packaged in my Peaches & Petals box. Every month is a fun surprise, and I can't wait to open my box. Most of the items that come into our house are for my kids- I spend all of my extra bucks on them (because I love to spoil them), so this subscription box is just for mommy! The May box was filled with perfect party decor and accessories- everything needed to plan the ultimate celebration with family and friends. As it happened, we were celebrating a 35th wedding anniversay (my mom and dad), a high school graduation (my hubby's cousin), and our sweet baby girl's baptism.

This set of party arrows is perfect!

I love the party arrows! The set came with twelve arrows, which meant that I could divvy them up and use them for different celebrations. They're awesome for directional use for parties that are sort of spread out. The kit came with pre-designed run on words, which are super easy to use!

Set of 12 Pennants

I love the pennants set, as well- and really love that you can write on them. I have tons of chalkboard markers that can be used to decorate these to make a party banner. I'm saving this set for baby girl's baptism luncheon. I can't wait to decorate a banner, and personalize it just for her! The kit also came with twine, which meant that I didn't have to hunt for ribbon to string and hang it with.

Chardades- Celebrity Edition

So- our best friends just moved to MN from NC. We are so bummed, because this is the type of game we would have loved to play with them during one of our Friday night get-togethers. Our family members are fun adn goofy, too, so we'll be playing this when we get together for game night. I can't wait to see some of the silly things they come up with!

Party Stopper Wine Stopper & Wine Glass Tags

This is a must-have for an adult party. When we get together as a family, there is always wine, and no one likes to have to play guessing games as to which glass belongs to which family member. These little tags make it easy to keep up with your glass, and the wine stopper is perfect to plug the wine bottle back up with. I'll take green, please!

Party napkins.

Every grown up party needs fun cocktail napkins. We love to entertain, and I can't wait to bring these fun napkins out during our next cocktail party. I'm sure they'll be a silly conversation starter.

Cute cutting board.

I love this little cutting board. I love not only the design, but the size as well. All of my cutting boards are huge, so this is the perfect size to bring out for a cocktail party. We have to have fresh lime out if anyone wants to take shots, and this is the perfect little garnishing station for a make-shift party bartender! You could also use it for cheese and crackers.

Party medallions!

I love party decorations, and these medallions are so festive and fun! I love the way they fan out and spin around. I'd love to hang them out on the screened in porch for a little summertime decorative flare. These are perfect for just about every summertime celebration you might throw this year! You can even save them and use them again laster!

Tasting spoons- perfect for apps and 'serts!

In the words of Tom Havorford of Parks and Rec, these spoons are great for 'apps and 'serts.' Use them with just about any appetizer or simple desserts to keep the finger food idea alive- it makes clean up much easier, and makes things easier for guests if they don't have to use utensils when they eat and mingle. This simple set is pretty and elegant- great for any occasion.
