Fall is finally here! We are seriously rejoicing that fall has arrived, and summer is out the window! We have been longing for cooler temperatures, and it feels like they are starting to make their way down south. The weather is still mild here in NC, but we're looking forward to jackets, scarves and boots. When it comes time to transition to fall apparel for my four-year-old son, we have to make it interesting for him. He definitely has an opinion about what he wears, and wants to be comfortable, and look like the cool kid he undoubtedly is.

We were so excited for the opportunity to connect with Shrimp & Grits Kids! I am definitely one of those moms who embraces southern style. Even though I'm mom to a tough little boy, I love to dress him up on Sundays, and for special occasions. I loved browsing all of the adorable options for boys at Shrimp & Grits Kids. I had a hard time making a decision when it came to a full outfit for B, but decided to go with bold colors that would pop, and pieces that would be comfortable.

I selected a navy blue long sleeved polo and green corduroy's for B.

When I laid eyes on the green pants, I fell in love with them. Green is my favorite color, and it's one of B's favorite colors, as well. We tend to stick with your basic black, navy, khaki, etc- when it comes to pants for B. These green cords definitely had a fun pop to them, and looked warm and comfy for fall and winter wear.

The Green Cords are probably B's favorite pants to wear right now. I love to see him in them, and he loves how comfortable they are to wear. They're nice enough for him to wear to church, and they're casual enough to be worn every day. Since there are other colors available- such as red, khaki and blue, I can't wait to purhase additional colors. The elastic waist is a big plus for these pants. The green color looks great with just about any other color- from red to blue!

We also received the adorable Elephant Polo! We haven't worn it yet, because it's been way too warm for long sleeves. This classic cotton polo features an embroidered green elephant, and a green and white checkered print. It's an adorable addition to the green pants, and a sweet combination for fall!
