Stay Actove & Cozy in the Alo Yoga Felted Crewneck Sweater #Review + #Giveaway

If you asked me a few years ago, if I would ever think about practicing yoga, my answer would have been a big 'no.' I probably would have said something along the lines of, 'Are you kidding me? I don't bend that way!' After several years of practicing Pilates off and on, I decided that adding some yoga into my exercise routine probably wouldn't be a bad idea. I knew I would need to keep an open mind, and give it time. I have been practicing beginners yoga for close to one year, just a few times a week, and I'm in love with it. I have noticed a lot of positive changes in my life, including improvements regarding sleep, muscle tension, anxiety, mental focus, balance and coordination, etc.

Yoga is certainly a way of life, and I have found myself wanting to know more about it. When I miss a day or two of yoga, my body can tell. Practicing yoga is a lot of fun for me, and I could wear whatever I wanted to, however, being properly dressed in yoga clothing is the way to go. Not only is it comfortable, it's practical.

Not long ago, I was able to connect with the fine folks at Alo Yoga, a well known yoga apparel brand. I love everything that Alo has in their collections. I would seriously proudly wear it all, but I had to choose just one pieces, so I wound up choosing Alo's beautiful new Felted Crewneck Sweater. This sweater is available in three colors, and I chose the Viridian, because I was drawn to the blue green hue against the grey.

Now, I don't go to a studio to practice yoga or Pilates. Thanks to my streaming device, I can get instruction right in my home, on demand. I have been thinking about taking some classes, locally, however, because I want to make sure that my form is correct. This time of year, I tend to get chilly, especially after I exercise. I tend to stay in my yoga apparel until bedtime, because it's so comfy. I love being able to pull on a cozy yoga wrap, but sometimes, it gets in the way. Having the felted crewneck sweater from Alo is really wonderful, because I can just pull in on after I have finished a session.

When I first ran my fingers across the felted crewneck sweater, I noticed how buttery soft it was. The outside is felted, and the inside feels more like a sweatshirt would, without feeling too heavy. I ordered this sweater in an XS, and it's plenty roomy for me. The sweater has a band around the bottom, and long cuffs on the sleeves, which stretch over the hands (I love that about this sweater!).

I love being able to grab this sweater and pull it on in the mornings, when I am up before the sun, doing my yoga or Pilates, as it's often freezing in my house! The first time I wore the sweater, I told my husband that I felt unusually warm all day long (I am usually always cold), and he told me that it was because I was wearing something that was actually keeping me warm! He was right- the felted crewneck sweater is totally warm and cozy- the perfect sweater to curl up in and read a book, or to pull on before heading out. Not only have I worn this sweater with my yoga apparel, I have worn it with skinny jeans, and boots, and it looks super cute when worn either way!

I have received a lot of compliments on the felted crewneck sweater already. Gals have been telling me that they love the look, the feel, and really love the sleeves. I have encouraged everyone who expressed interest in the sweater to just brush their hand over it, to feel how super soft it is, and they have all fallen in love with it, just as I have!
