At Mommy's Block Party, we are constantly experiencing growth in readership and in opportunities to connect our readers with wonderful people, products and experiences. Since we've seen a lot of growth recently, the need for us to expand our team has also grown. We're so fortunate to have such a hardworking, dedicated team of gals who love their famlies and who love blogging. In order for us to keep on rolling, we've added a new member to our team of contributors, and we're excited to make it official!

Meet Vanessa...

Hello! I am Vanessa, wife to Matthew and mommy to 2 amazing young ladies Drew (6) and Reese (21 months). I wear many hats, as most moms do. I am a wife and mother first, Avon representative, and most recently an Avon District Assistant. I volunteer at my oldest daughter’s school for the Parent Teacher Group (as a secretary) and pretty much any other activity they ask me to. I love being with my children, and I am one of those parents that enjoys early dismissals, school vacations, and snow days. I also really enjoy cooking and baking, and luckily it’s an activity both of our girls love too, our 6 year old has even talked of opening a restaurant one day! 

My husband is currently working for a local electrical company and is back in school to become an electrician. We have been a “we” since high school, were  married in 2002, welcomed our first daughter in 2007, and her little sister in 2012! We have been blessed with infinitely more than we could have ever asked for or dreamed of! 

I am quite giddy to work with MBP and am looking forward to connecting with all of you!

Vanessa will be one of our regular review contributors, and will also be sharing her own weekly column, which we encourage you to look for on Saturdays!
