Having a little boy is truly interesting. Every day is an adventure, especially for me- the girliest of girls. It's a good thing that I grew up babysitting little boys, and in doing so, had to learn all about what potty training a little boy was like, how little boys like to play, what they're interested in, etc. Being exposed to little dudes early on has seriously helped me as a mom to a sweet little man who loves all of your typical little dude stuff from planes and trains to pirates and dinosaurs.

If anyone has ever told you that dressing and accessorizing a little boy is boring, I'm sorry to say- they're just plain wrong. Gone are the days of plain Jane and John. I had a great time browsing For Your Boy, looking at all of the cool dude t-shirs, pajamas, backpacks, jackets and toys. I was given the opportunity to choose an item to review, up to $40.00 in value. I really wanted to select something for Balian that he needed, and that he would think was totally cool! One of the things he seems to need super often, is new shoes. My child's feet grow faster than wild violas in my front yard! I spotted a pair of sneakers that were so awesome, I knew I could stop looking around... I had found the perfect thing for my son.

I was so excited to hear that the Dinofit Dinosaur Sneakers were on their way to our house, and when they arrived, I could hardly wait for Balian to see them! These sneakers not only have a super cool dude design, they have some special surprises, too!

The Dinofit Dinosaur Sneakers are dino-riffic!

We chose the size ten sneaker for Balian, and wasn't too worried about them not fitting. We tend to have good luck with Velcro closure sneakers for him, because they allow a little extra room for his thick feet. The sneakers are an olive green color with black lining, black trim and yellow accents. There is a triple Velcro closure on each shoe, and lovely stitching, plus an Ankylosaurus on each shoe, as well. The super secret surprise about these sneaks, is that each sneaker has two 'dinosaur eyes' on the face, and they light up!

Balian all but freaked out when he first laid eyes on his new dinosaur shoes. He was in deep love with his black sneakers, which featured one of his favorite characters, but I can honestly say that he loves these Dinofit sneakers even more! He noticed that they were dinosaur sneakers right away, and told me that his new green sneaks were so cool! He couldn't wait to try them on, and wanted to get them on his feet all by himself.

The sneakers are plenty roomy, and Balian seriously loves them! He was so pleased to see the sneakers on his feet, and to watch the dino eyes light up before his eyes, as he stomped through the house. He couldn't wait to get outside and run around in them, and more than that, he couldn't wait to wear them to Weekday Church School, to show his friends his cool dino sneakers!

Of course, I am happy that Balian loves his new sneakers... and I am a happy mom, because these are easy to put on and take off, and the faux leather allows for fast, easy cleaning. We've already trapsed through the mud in these, and I was able to easily wipe them down with a mild soap and somw warm water on a paper towel... they looked as good as new! What dinosaur doesn't stomp through the mud? It's only natural, right? Balian has also been comfortable in wearing these sneakers while out and about for the entire day, without complaining about his little feet being tired or sore!
