Spring Break, Activate!

I'm not a woman of many words this week, and since it's Wordless Wednesday, I guess that's a good thing. The month of February was excruciatingly busy, and while some of that was by my own making, I wasn't sure I'd make it through the month when we were nearing the end of it.

Now that we've made it to March, and my family has made it though my Dad's joy-filled retirement celebration, there's only one thing on my mind. Spring Break!

It's been years since my kids' spring break has lined up with their Dad's spring break at the college he works and teaches at. You know what that means? We haven't been able to take a trip (over spring break) as a family in years. This year, everyone's break aligned, and we're so ready to say 'see ya' for a few days. This year more than ever before, we just need some time. Time to process life events, time to to regroup, time to spend together (just the five of us), and time to recharge.

A break. It won't be anything fancy, but it'll be much-needed. Time. What a gift.
