I have not received nor purchased any wine, so I can't comment on the taste, but all Clif Family Wine is sourced organically and uses the best practices that has the lowest impact on our environment. It's obvious that this family is passionate about their techniques and sustainability, thus providing us with the best tasting products possible.

There are so many to choose - from Just Add Cheese samplers to Nut Trio sets! I was sent over the Spread the Buzz Gift set this holiday season. For full disclosure- I love honey. If you look in my pantry right now, you "might" think I have a honey hoarding problem, but I promise, I do use it all! 

The Spread the Buzz Gift set is perfect for any honey-lover and lover of caring for the environment via pollinators. This honey is solar grown, meaning that it's crafted via clean energy straight from the sun.  This helps bees pollinate, flowers to grow, and honey to develop! 

Also included are several recipe cards. Recipients can choose to eat their honey straight out of the jar with a spoon, poured into a cup of hot tea, or spread across (or in) a deletable dessert or meal. 

Out of the several provided recipes, the one that immediately caught my eye is Sour Cream Doughnut Holes, using the Cinnamon Honey spread or Cacao spreads. This one immediately called my name as I was home on a icky rainy day with a cough. The sour cream doughnut portion is sooo good along. I made a cacoa glaze instead of cinnamon, but I bet any glaze would be excellent! 

Just a note, Raw Honey sometimes crystallizes. This means that it hardens because the fructose and glucose separates. It doesn't go bad when it does this, and I actually love raw honey because of this process! It's unfiltered and extra stuff isn't add to it to preserve it. 

The Solar Raw Honey has a sweet taste that I absolutely love. The description lists wildflowers and clover as the main flavors. I think this honey is probably one of the best that I've had in a while!

The Honey Spreads are absolutely fabulous as well. I have not tried the  Hot Honey or the Ginger Honey-those will be a gift this holiday season, but I imagine both would pair well in many meals. Recipe cards will help those recipients gravitate towards use, I hope! 

I absolutely love the Cinnamon and the Cacao Honey Spreads. 

The cinnamon isn't too sweet or cinnamon spiced, but has a very next texture and flavor. The Cacao is the perfect combination! Think Nutella without all the sugar and preservatives. 

The honey mixed with cacoa powder would add the perfect addition to desserts, things like mole, or wherever you might want a chocolate spread! 

The addition of the honey spreader is a nice touch. Since this honey crystallizes faster, it doesn't ooze out like we think honey does in the Pooh cartoon, but the spreader offers a way to mix the honey up, as well as dip it out. 

There are so many ways that honey can be used in our foods that we don't even realize! From sugar substitutes, to glaze additions, to a simple cup of tea, honey also comes with healing properties that not only soothe our sore throats but also our souls! 

All of these honeys are available as individuals, as well as other Cliff Family products you might find in the gift sets. This holiday season, I hope you will invite artisan foods that are organically sourced with sustainable practices into your homes and on your gift lists!
