I'm sure most of us have memories of hanging out in the kitchen while our moms or grand-moms made our favorite cookies with and for us. They would let us mix the ingredients together, whip up the batter, and pretend to let us pour it in pans or help us scoop it out of the bowl. While we worked to develop our dexterity skills, the adults in our lives helped shape memories within us too. 

Now it's time for you to create some memories with your own mom or grandma. Perhaps they can't quite navigate the kitchen anymore to make a tray full of wonderful cookies, but Cookies & Dreams can provide them with a magical sensory experience! Cookies & Dreams is a female owned business that aims to send specialty cookies alongside of our childhood favorites like Chocolate Chips. They were nice enough to send me 2 boxes filled with their amazing gooey cookies: the OG Chocolate Chip Box and a 12 pack variety box. So far, none of these cookies have disappointed! 

The OG Chocolate Chip is the original Cookies & Dreams flavor. This cookie is HUGE. Seriously. It's probably way more than my calorie intake for sweets for a day needs to be at it's 5 oz- 7 oz size. But it's THAT good.. so I'll go on that extra walk or do that extra dance video for sure! It's even better when warmed up in the microwave for a bit.. to get that oeey-goeey goodness just right (in fact- C&D recommends microwave for 15-25 secs or oven for 2-3 mins at 350..remember to remove the cellophane). 

Cookies are prepackaged in cellophane to ensure freshness. Freeze them up to 3 months to ensure freshness if you can't eat them right away They will also last about 7 days stored in an airtight container. 

When I opened up the variety box I received, I honestly had no clue what to expect. I really hadn't done that much research on the types of cookies that Cookies & Dreams offered. Their cookies flavors range from sugar, caramel, peanut butter, and even puppy chow! I haven't tried the latter yet, but I'm certainly excited to do so. 

Of course, my favorite is the original chocolate chip- but there are several seasonal cookies that delight my palate too. The Mighty Mint (chocolate peppermint) takes a nod while the Peanut Butter Promise is a definite close second. This ultra sweet cookie has a sugar base with peanut butter cheesecake, dipped in pb, and topped with melted chocolate will take your tastebuds on a peanut buttery journey to goodness. I definitely want another one of these cookies before they disappear!

Speaking of seasonal flavors.. the current ones are girl scout inspired, which explains the mint, caramel, and peanut butter flavors! 

Boxes can be purchased in a variety and assortment of cookies. There is an OG Chocolate chip box, like the 6 piece set I received. There is also a 6 piece Classic set, a 6 piece Fan Favorites, and a box full of the girl scout inspired creations. Build your own 6 or 12 piece set to ship to your loved one if none of these inspire you. You can choose the flavors and quantity amounts then. 

This Mother's Day, be sure to send a box full of sugary goodness to the one who taught you to bake, to the one who inspired you to live and fulfill your dreams. Your mom, grand-mom, aunt.. or basically anyone who helped shape and form you will absolutely love these cookies!
