Over the years, I've loved receiving awesome greeting cards. They make me feel happy that someone cared enough about me to spend the time to write a note, address the card, and drop it in the mail.
Yet, I'm horrible at responding. I have every intention of sending out cards for birthdays, anniversaries, thinking of you/ just because occasions.. but, then life takes over. I get busy, I forget to buy stamps, I address an envelope and it sits on my table a couple of days before I get it to the postal box. We have mailing boxes in our apartment complex but sometimes the slit is too small for some greeting cards.
So, I'm extremely excited to share Punkpost with you! This company will create and mail wonderfully handwritten cards for us. These cards are handwritten with our own message and are creatively designed. Then, Punkpost stuffs, addresses, stamps, and mails the envelope for us!
How does it work? After creating your Punkpost account, you can select a card from one of the many many occasions. Beautifully created artwork is on the front of the card. Then, you can write your own message to the recipient. These messages are handwritten into the card in a very artistic way with 5 options to choose from: elegant, sweet, fun, simple, and formal. Input your recipients address and soon your card will be off in the mail!
Punkpost set up a credit on my account so that I could try it out. I have selected/ created two cards and sent them to two different friends. I also scheduled a card in advance. It was an extremely easy process.. the hardest part was deciding on the design!
Cards can also be scheduled up to a year in advance- which is great if you know you will be hitting a busy season and don't want to forget that special someone! Typically, mom's birthday falls around Easter, which is my busy time, so I have already scheduled her card to go out when it's time!
Punkpost even has some added inclusions- add confetti to your card for the ultimate surprise for your loved one for an extra $1.00.
Punkpost greeting cards start at $7.00 for the card and shipping. While this seems expensive, remember that these are hand-created cards by various artists. No two cards are exactly alike! More than 400 designs are available!
Cards can be ordered via website or iOS app. This makes it super easy to order if you are traveling and don't have the resources to send a card out.
