Happy Saturday, friends. Today is a special day for us because it's Matt's birthday! We are pretty fond of this guy, so we'll be celebrating the entire weekend.
Today we'll be getting together with his parents. It doesn't escape me how fortunate we are to be able to do that, especially after last year with everyone being so cautious regarding traveling and gatherings. It's a pretty wonderful thing to experience your birthday with the people responsible for your existence.
Tomorrow we'll be heading out to our favorite walking trails (weather permitting), enjoying a special meal, and watching some spooky movies.
