This fourth of July means so much more to me this year.  E is home on leave for this year and I can honestly say this is the only time I have ever wanted to celebrate.  I'm not big on fireworks and loud noise so this time of year can be stressful for me.  This year, I am excited to celebrate and honor my soldier and his brothers and sisters in the military.  My independence comes at a cost and I know the cost all too well.

I'm working on getting into the spirit of the holidays with my super cute mani-pedi representing the red white and blue and a porch sign sporting those same colors.

I'm looking forward to cookouts and time spent with family making memories that will sustain me until E can come home again.  I know each day this past week has been a blessing and a welcome reprieve from my empty nest.
