Have you followed the Cinderella Series over the past years? Staring with the original A Cinderella Story featuring Hilary Duff and Chad Michael Murray, each installment in the series focuses on a young girl who tries to overcome the jealous selfish nature of her family in order to achieve her dreams.. and usually finds a prince along the way! 

Warner Brothers has created a new story again with their latest Cinderella movie! A Cinderella Story: Starstruck is no different.. except, it's set on a farm in the middle of Idaho! Featuring Bailee Madison and Michael Evans, this cute movie will delight all ages with its catchy songs, easy to follow plot, and lots of interesting farm animals! 

Follow Finley Tremaine, a small-town farm girl from Idaho, as she tries to achieve her dreams of being in the movies. Despite a botched audition, Finley finds a way to woo the hearts of a production team shooting locally, and manages to catch a lead role, disguised as someone else! Follow her adventures and chaos as she tries to keep both of her identities straight, captures the attention of the lead actor, and figures out a plan to keep her house from being sold by her step-family! 

You and yours will love the farm life, the characters, and the plot while watching Bailee dig herself in.. and out.. of a mess that captures all! Following a typical Cinderella plot, this story doesn't focus on rags to riches, but rather focuses on the transformation of Bailee's self esteem and dreams. Not giving up and finding solutions out of her problems allows Bailee the chance to dream big! Along the way, she makes some friends- both human and animal- that help her with her problems. 

This movie reminds us that while we face problems in life, true friendship is valuable to hold onto. Reaching for the stars might look different than we originally thought, but there are often ways to get the goals.. and work done! 

As with most movies in the Cinderella Story series, the lead characters are late high school/ early young adults. While there is nothing provocative in the film, it is always wise for parents to view before showing children. The movie's rating, PG, does cover language and content (mostly about relationships, but also some jokes/ events between characters), so as always, be careful when viewing with your littles.
