I have been a reader for as long as I can remember. As I'm expecting my first child, books are front and center on my list of "must haves" for baby. It is so important to me that my little one is immersed in the world of books as early as possible and I have big dreams that my son will love to read as much as I do. That's why I was so happy to connect with Stephanie Snyder of Littlebit Book Club and have the opportunity to share the Littlebit Books with all of you!

These board books feature a pint-sized protagonist, Lucy Littlebit, as she goes on day-to-day adventures with her Mommy and Daddy. The books are about the way babies, toddlers, and young children learn about the world. The first book in their three-book series is entitled Strolling! where Lucy explores town with Mommy in her stroller. After the success of Strolling!, the next book, Dining! was released in which Lucy enjoys all of her favorite foods in her high chair with Daddy. Just this past March, the series was rounded out with Cruising! Readers hear all about Lucy's adventures around town in her car seat.

The Littlebit Book Club was founded by Stephanie and Jed Snyder, a married author/illustrator duo from New Jersey. Their mission is to promote and support an early love of reading and to help parents encourage early literacy at home with these fun and relatable board books, as well as offering free resources on their website for families.

Each Lucy Littlebit book features beautiful illustrations alongside a bouncy, read-aloud story. I love stories featuring diverse characters. I believe that it is important not only for children to see themselves in stories, but also for children to see characters who are different from them featured prominently in books.
