Thanks to Goddess Garden for sending me product to review. All thoughts shared are my own.
We have always looked forward to summers at our community pool, but this year, my children have never been more excited to spend the day outside in the sun!
For a few months, we were not sure that our community pool would open. My children literally spoke to God in our evening prayer time and asked Him to "please open the pool" this summer. With all of the closings and social distancing going on, I truly wasn't sure what the outcome would be.
When the pool board decided to open, we were overjoyed. I knew my little boys would be extra excited to spend as much time as possible outside!
With that being said, my desire to protect their fragile young skin is stronger than ever. You see, earlier in the year I had a bit of a skin scare and after some stitches and a very questionable lab report, I am determined to protect my family's skin this summer.
I have always been diligent with sunscreen but did not discover the power of mineral sunscreen until more recently. In my quest to find the utmost protection for our skin, I discovered Goddess Garden and am really happy to be able to share this amazing company with you.
Our friends at Goddess Garden sent along this incredible package of goodies for my family! If you've ever used mineral sunscreen, you may be used to the incredibly thick, paste-like consistency. However, Goddess Garden has mastered mineral sunscreen and it glides onto the skin smoothly while also rubbing in easily. I LOVE these sunscreen products. My one son has sensitive skin and these products work wonderfully for him as well.
Read a little about how this amazing company came to be on their website. It's an amazing story and I truly appreciate their desire to take chemicals out of sunscreen so that we can safely protect our skin, knowing we are not absorbing harmful ingredients.
In addition to sunscreen, Goddess Garden offers aromatherapy and skincare options too! They have such a beautiful variety of products.
Personally, I love the "Sport" sunscreen because we spend hours outside at the pool and it has proven to not wash away with lots of fun playtime. This sunscreen option is $17.99 and a little bit goes a LONG way. I apply the smallest amount to my kid's faces and it covers a lot of ground.
If a stick is more your speed, you can grab this convenient sunscreen that my 8 and 9 year old sons apply themselves! It glides on smoothly, unlike other stick formulas that dry up and seem to get stuck on the skin. This stick sunscreen is $7.99.
Typically, I spray their body with the sport and they apply the stick to their faces. I have been so pleased with Goddess Garden products!

ReplyDeleteNatural sunscreen is important because I want to protect my skin without the chemicals.
ReplyDeleteI generally prefer using natural sunscreen and find it important to do so to avoid getting any harmful chemicals in my and my family's system. Our skin is our bodies' largest organ and absorbs so much, it's best not to expose it unnecessarily to anything harmful. I would wear this sunscreen primarily on my morning walks and out at the pool when it opens back up again!
ReplyDeleteNatural sunscreen is important to me because I have a little one.
ReplyDeleteI'll use Goddess Sunscreen when we go in the yard.
ReplyDeleteI would use these products the most at the pool.
ReplyDeleteSunscreen is super important to me because my mom is a colon cancer survivor and that experience scared me enough to be diligent about cancer prevention strategies.
ReplyDeleteI would use it before I took a walk outside.
ReplyDeleteIt'll be amazing, because I could be protected from the sun without the damages caused by chemicals! And, of course, be closest to the nature!
ReplyDeleteI would use it at the pool the most I think.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I like whatever is going to protect me the best from the harmful UVA/UVB rays. Natural is nice but it isn't a must for me.

ReplyDeleteIt's very important! We live in a hot climate so sunscreen is a must.
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of natural sunscreen without harsh chemicals. Not only are some sunscreens bad for us, but some are also bad for the coral reefs.
ReplyDeleteNatural sunscreen is very important, since I am allergic to most sunscreens and it is needed to help prevent skin cancer.
ReplyDeleteVery important since I wear it most every day.
