Happy Saturday, friends. Yes, it is Saturday, and for the record, it is May 16th. This past week was a fairly pleasant one in the grand scheme of things, but we are still missing being able to visit with family and friends outside of the house. I miss my loved ones so much, I've considered ordering cardboard cutouts of them like Jess from Diary of a Mom did. Their "Flat Papa" experiences have been bringing me so much joy!

This weekend we are looking forward to some sunshine and lots of time outside. We have plans to assemble Matt's grill, that he received for Christmas (2018!), and maybe even get to work on some garden stuff. I've been so inspired by my fellow MBP bloggers and their gardens. Penny shared a post on Monday that really motivated me to try my hand at container gardens. Potatoes and peppers are at the top of my list for things I'd love to grow. 

In addition to our outdoor adventures, I'm hoping to get some work done in our garage and basement. I am horribly unorganized, but I have so many ideas for cool things we can do with both spaces. I just need the motivation and some extra hands to get it all done.
