Pure Earth Pets, Eco Friendly Dog Box, + #Giveaway, #MBPPetGuide20

Thank you Pure Earth Pets for sending me this subscription box. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own. Please consult with your Vet before starting your pets on any new products.

My dogs, Luna and Diesel are more like children than pets, and we make sure that we are doing our best to keep them happy and healthy. We feed them natural food and treats, but living in a small town, our options are very limited. It's made even harder by the fact the Diesel is allergic to chicken and any type of fowl. Our treat options are bully sticks and peanut butter treats. We feed them eggs, carrots, green beans and peas with their normal food, so we don't use those as treats, and we usually treat upset tummies with pumpkin or sweet potato, so those aren't seen as treats either.

I'm always on the lookout for things that will excite them and keep them happy and healthy, and that's exactly what happened when I received a pet box from Pure Earth Pets. Pure Earth Pets is an Eco Friendly, monthly subscription box which was founded in July of 2019 by Leanne and John Baum. They were looking for more Eco Friendly options for their dog as they were making their home more Eco Friendly, and were having a difficult time finding things. They took matters into their own hands, and Pet Earth Box was born! They only include the finest quality products in their boxes, which are quality tested and Dover, their dog, approved!

Pet Earth Box, has four different options for you to choose from:

Our box had six different options for our dogs to enjoy, including: a Loom whale toy from Himalayan Pet Supply, Jiminy's Good Grub dog food sample, Himalayan Dog Chew-Petal Pops bacon flavored, Good Boy dog beer; session squirrel, PetiPet Mobility Bar, and a bottle of PEP's Simply Fresh Body Spray.  And to say that my dogs were excited, is an understatement. As soon as I opened the box and placed it on the floor for them to explore, they were all over the box!

Luna immediately went for the Loom whale, and grabbed it out of the box before I had a chance to remove the tag. As I was reading over the tag, I was so excited to learn that the Loom whale is 100% compostable, and the purchase of the toy gives back to women in Nepal who make them. I love products that have a greater purpose, and can bring joy to multiple people. Luna played with the whale for close to 30 minutes before she decided to come and check out what else was in the box! This whale has now become one of her favorite toys, and she carries it out to the yard multiple times a day to show it off to her best friend, our neighbor's dog, Bella!

Diesel was a huge fan of all of the treats! He's a bit of a chunk, but I was so glad that he has healthier options, none of which contained chicken, so he is able to enjoy them all. And enjoy he did! The Himalayan Petal Pops, which are made of Lotus Flower seed, Bacon Flavor, and Potassium Sorbate, and are puffed treats, were his favorite. Luna loved them, too and at only nine calories for 25 pieces, I am able to give them several without worrying that it will cause weight gain. Luna is still a puppy and we have been using these as training treats, and she is now so excited to work for her Petal Pops!

The PetiPet Mobility Bars, are perfect for Diesel who has just turned seven, and starting to show signs of aging. They contain Apple, Carrot, Glucosamine, Chondroitin, MSM and are never cooked so it won't lose it's potency due to heat. These natural pain management treats smell great, and Diesel begs for them every morning. We're hoping that these help us to keep his joints healthy and lubricated so we don't have to deal with hip or joint issues as he continues to age. I have high hopes for these!

We decided to mix in the Jiminy's Good Grub dog food sample, with their regular morning meal. Both of the dogs gobbled it up and thoroughly enjoyed it. The dog food is a holistic health food option for your dogs made from insect protein powder, oats, sweet potato, flax seed, and other plant based ingredients to make one heck of a yummy, highly digestible dog food! We also poured the Good Boy Dog Beer over their food at night for a delicious topping. Both dogs sat there and lapped it off of their food before eating it. I was a comical site, but they really enjoyed it. The Good Boy Dog Beer; session squirrel makes me laugh every time I say it! It's a non-alcoholic that includes: carrots, apples, green beans, celery, oranges, sweet potatoes, ginger, turmeric, mint and filtered water. It smelled pretty good, and made me really want to try it, but I saved it all for my pups! There's a lot in the can, and it lasted us several days, keeping it refrigerated.

The final product in the box was PEP's(Pure Earth Pets)- Simply Fresh Body Spray. This is for pets, but I can't see why you couldn't use it either. This was designed to be used when your dog is stinky, and needs a bath, but you're not able to give them one. You simply, shake, mist them, massage it in and brush. Simple as that. It smells amazing, and keeps your pets fresh!

I am so impressed with Pure Earth Pets, and the thought and care that have gone into the products the use and their boxes. Something that impressed me is, if your pet really likes a product in the box, you are able to go to their site and buy individual items from the boxes. I'm sure the Petal Pops will become a staple in our home, and same with the Loom Whale.  Diesel and Luna, loved their box, and there wasn't a single item in the box that they didn't enjoy. Thank you so much, Leanne and John for creating such a wonderful subscription box, that is great for our pets and for the earth!
