It's no secret that I love dogs and would have all the dogs in the world if I could. Since I can't have all the dogs, I want to do everything I can to take care of my two pups, especially during this Global Crisis. I'm trying to avoid taking them to the vet if I don't have to but make sure that they are healthy, too.

Our Big Boy, Diesel

Diesel, our 7 year old German Shepherd mix, has several health issues that come along with his breed. He has always had issues with his digestion and will have random bouts of vomiting an bowel problems that have stumped our vet. In addition to that he is also allergic to many animal products and has very rough paws that he constantly bites at. It's been a frustrating journey to say the least, but I knew that we needed to find something that could help him. That's where RestoraPet comes in.

Diesel not wanting to eat his food

RestoraPet claims that it can aide in digestion, help with inflammation and help to fight infection, along with many other things. I couldn't wait for Diesel to try it, since he is fighting a small infection in his foot and has not been eating that well lately. His energy levels have also been down over the last month, and I was beginning to worry about him, so this came at a perfect time in our lives.

According to the bottle, Diesel should get 3 ml of RestoraPet to be given daily either orally or on his food. The hemp one is to be given preferably at night. We started out giving him the drops on his food in the morning, and it didn't take much coaxing to get him to eat his food.We were so happy that he wanted to eat, and seemed to enjoy it. Plus it smells really good!

It's been about 3 weeks since we started Diesel on RestoraPet, and we've seen a huge improvement in his digestion and eating habits. We have not had a single bout of vomiting or diarrhea, he begs for his food in the morning and eats the whole entire bowl. His energy has increased slightly, and we hope to see it increase more with continued use. Something that was really exciting and unexpected are his feet starting to become smooth. He has had rough, cracked feet, and it felt like a cat tongue. Nothing was helping his feet, and I wasn't expecting them to become softer, but they did! I was so surprised. Something else that has been a huge benefit for him is his coat has become softer and he's not shedding nearly as much as he normally does, and we love that for him, and us.

He gets up several times in the night and he gets hot at night, panting and shaking the bed. It can be frustrating for us, but we know he is uncomfortable. After giving it to him for 4 nights in a row, he began to sleep better and not pant all night long. He's sleeping better through the night and has only woken up once a night instead of the two to three times a night he normally does. It's been great, and he has had a bit more energy during the day to keep up with his puppy sister, Luna!

I am so glad that I was able to try this with Diesel, as I truly believe it has helped him to eat better, aide in his digestion, help him relax and start the healing process for his feet.
