While we're all social distancing (together), it's the perfect time to embrace being together as a family. E-learning and working from home is now taking up most of our daytime hours, but in the evenings, after we have finished our work, assignments, and dinner, we're doing sometime extra special- having dedicated family time each and every night. We've done lots of things together thus far... we took a drive-up trip to our local DQ for an ice cream treat and then took a drive around town. We have played family games like charades, and we've started a few movies that we've been wanting to watch for a long time, but just haven't had a chance to do.

We are so excited to be able to watch STRIKE together during family movie time this week! It is such a sweet movie, perfect for families (especially is you have wide age gaps between kids like I do). This heartwarming story will tug at your heartstrings and warm you right up!

My son was signed up to play his first-ever season of spring soccer with our local YMCA this March - May. Since we have to now practice social distancing, soccer is of course cancelled, and rightly so. We were really looking forward to being a soccer family for the first time, and since my little guy is still very much into soccer, we're getting in all the soccer action we can handle right now. That makes this film even more exciting for our family!
