Weekends with the Wigglesworths- Our Day Trip to NYC

Happy Sunday, friends. You might have noticed that my WWTW post didn't go up as regularly scheduled, but that's because we were visiting New York City. It was a big surprise for the girls and it ended up being an amazing trip.

We got to the city a little before lunchtime, but since everyone was pretty hungry, we stopped for lunch at Scotty's Diner. It's a smaller place, the line was so long, but the food and staff were amazing and it was absolutely worth the visit. If you are ever in the area, I highly recommend eating here.

After lunch, we headed to Macy's. We weren't able to sign up to meet Santa (had no idea it was even a thing until the night before), but the girls were able to see the decorations, write and mail Santa a letter, and we actually accidentally (almost literally) bumped into the big guy as we were getting off an elevator!

After Macy's, we went over to Rockefeller Center, which was the primary goal, because I wanted to take the girls to see the Christmas Tree. It was pretty busy, of course, but it was so magical.

My loveys! Had to be quick to snap this one, the foot traffic was unreal.

We did so much walking yesterday, my whole body feels just exhausted today. The memories we made though, make it all worth it.

Not the Rockefeller Tree, but still magical!

They do love the song, but who knew they'd get (to see) a Hippopotamus for Christmas?

Have you been to visit NYC during the holiday season? Share some tips/tricks with me, because I'd like to make this a yearly tradition and I need the help!

Have a spectacular Sunday!
