Top 3 Romantic Getaways for Couples in Love

If your partner was about to whisk you off to a destination for a romantic getaway, where would you go?
It sounds like an easy question but travel today is so accessible, there is almost too much choice. We can be anywhere in the world in less than a day, so it's possible to go somewhere exotic for a weekend.

Here are the best places for couples to visit and romantic places to go with your boyfriend.
1. Paris, France
The classic cliche, Paris is the age-old city of love. It is easily accessible by flight, and you could even make a wider European trip out of it as it is connected to Europe and even the U.K by train.
When you are in Paris you should rent a high rise apartment or hotel overlooking the city. Of course, you can go up the Eiffel Tower at night and visit the Louvre but you should also try to enjoy the city.
Walk around the cobbled streets, dive into a market or a bakery, and enjoy the incredible French food. Coffee culture is also big in Paris so you should definitely have a slow coffee-filled afternoon.
If palaces and museums are your things, then you can't go wrong with Versailles which is a short train journey away. This is arguably the grandest palace that was ever built and the court of the infamous Sun King, Louis XIV of France.
Also be sure to check out the independent record scene in the city.
2. The Island of Bohol, The Philippines
There are over 7,000 islands in The Philippines but this is a hidden gem in terms of exotic travel. Home to the Chocolate Hills, it is a great destination to go and visit both for green spaces and for beaches.
Sparsely populated you can easily drive around from beaches to beautiful green scenery on a motorbike. Despite stories in the media about The Philippines being dangerous, the smaller islands are very safe and the local people are friendly.
3. Hoi An, Vietnam
Most people wouldn't consider Vietnam as a tourist destination. Many people in the West and America discount it because they think of the Vietnam War and its association with communism.
But, Vietnamese people are some of the friendliest in the world. Hoi An is a quaint little town in the center of Vietnam. Its ancient trading town is a UNESCO world heritage town and is well worth a visit. But it also boasts beaches and warm weather a few kilometers drive from the main time.
Be sure to try some Pho noodle soup and Mi Quang noodles, a local specialty as well as com ga, chicken rice, and Vietnam's famous ca phe sua da with condensed milk. It will blow your socks off it is so strong.
Best Places for Couples to Visit? It's Personal Choice
So, where are some of the best places for couples to visit? The fact is the decision is very personal and ultimately down to you. Paris is an old classic which could be good for couples who live traditional romance but Hoi An and Bohol both offer perfect beach paradise and a taste of Asian culture.
