Happy FriYay! I love Fridays. They can be sort of hectic, but come Friday night, all of our family members are huddled together in the living room for family movie night. Bring on the popcorn, plush blankets, and belly laughs! This is truly one of my favorite ways for us to spend time together. This week, we're excited to watch NORM OF THE NORTH: KING SIZED ADVENTURE as a special preview before its release on June 11th!

From writer Dean Stefan (TV’s “The Smurfs,” “X-Men: The Animated Series”) and directors Richard Finn and Tim Matlby (TV’s “Ultimate Spider-Man,” “What’s New, Scooby-Doo?”), this Dove-approved family friendly-film delivers laughs and a positive message about honesty. The Norm of the North: King Sized Adventure Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD and will be available for the suggested retail price of $21.99 and $19.98, respectively.

While Norm and his friends are preparing to celebrate his grandfather’s wedding, trouble is stirring in Misty Mountain. There, Norm meets an archaeologist named Jin and learns that a priceless Chinese artifact has been stolen by Dexter, Jin’s old partner. With the help of his lemming friends, Norm must embark on a journey across the world to help recover the artifact and return it to its rightful place. Can Norm keep his word to his new friend Jin and return home in time for his grandfather’s wedding? Only time will tell.

I already previewed the movie, and like the NORM predecessors, this film is family-friendly, humorous, packed with action and adventure, and is kind-hearted. I love that these movies teach kids valuable lessons on friendship, loyalty, and doing what is right. This is definitely a movie that I recommend checking out with your family. It's Dove-Approved, so you can feel good about kids of all ages watching this one.

I think Norm would be my favorite character from this franchise. He is the most memorable.
