For me, this time of year hosts many special occasions that require me to get a little creative with my outfits and vamp up my look!

Mother's Day, birthday, anniversary, vacations... OH MY!

That's May and June for me and every single year I find myself searching through my jewelry cabinet for something special to add to an outfit. I like to be simple, but special. That's the way I dress and accessorize. 

You won't find me in huge, statement pieces of jewelry with high heels and something slinky on my body. In fact, if you know me at all, that very thought probably created an image in your mind that seemed pretty foreign. GET OUT of our heads crazy mental picture! Nope. I am simple and special in my attire. I wear shirts, shoes, jewelry and accessories that mean something to me, almost daily.

When I discovered Geo-Graphic Gem jewelry, I absolutely fell in love. I could not wait to see these pieces in front of me and experience their beauty. This sweet company was kind enough to send me some pieces to try out so that I can share my experience with all of you. 

I feel we are a match made in heaven. In the above picture, I am wearing the blue gem drop earrings and gem barrette. Most pieces are around $20-25 which I find to be a very reasonable price.

This bracelet has a classic clasp with a shiny silver tone to accent the glowing gem. It wears very comfortably alone or along with other bracelets as well.

They are actually made from vintage National Geographic magazine pages! Is that not one of the most interesting methods of making jewelry you have ever come across?! I knew I had to see these jewelry items to really be able to appreciate just how special they are. I was not disappointed and I can't wait to add one of the pieces to an outfit for one of the special occasions I have happening this month!
