I don't know about you, but it's safe to say if I don't have my early morning and mid-morning coffee, this Momma does not reach 100% level of functioning. There are so many reasons I love coffee! The more obvious reason is it gives me the extra boost I need to wake up and get the day started, the less obvious is the taste! I'm a bit of a coffee snob when it comes to taste and flavor.
Wow, was I given a treat when I received my coffee from Hala Tree! Not only did the coffee come in a beautiful basket (which is now being used in my guest bathroom), it also included coffee extract and a coffee and honey syrup.

Hala Tree is a family owned business, nestled in the sunny hills of Captain Hook, Hawaii. They are certainly not your average cup of Joe - their coffee is award winning and the beans speak for themselves! If you are looking for a high-quality cup of coffee, look no further!
I am a dark roast kind of gal! I love a strong and bold cup of coffee - some may say it's too strong for their liking, but that's just the way I like it! Now, usually I will add a flavor and milk to my morning brew, but I knew I needed to truly taste the coffee for what it was. The dark roast didn't disappoint! It is incredibly smooth and bold - just the way I like it! There is a somewhat sweet and toasted marshmallow taste to it.
The medium roast was smooth as well, but had a creamy taste to it. If you are more of a fan of a more subtle cup of coffee, I would recommend this over the dark roast. I however, will stick with the dark roast!
Now, let's not forget the coffee extract and coffee elixir. I mixed the coffee extract with vanilla ice cream and I have decided that is what it will be used for until there is no more! It makes a delicious java flavored ice cream that leaves me wanting to go back for seconds! I used the coffee elixir to make an iced coffee! Because it is sweetened with honey, nothing else needed to be added. There are so many possibilities that can be used with the extract and elixir. Next on the list for me - tiramisu!
These products would make any coffee loving Momma happy and would make great additions to Mother's Day baskets!
