It's finally Friday, and for our family, that means it's family movie night! We just got our hands on a copy of The Grinch, and we're super hooked on this film! Bet you can guess what we'll be watching (again) tonight as we enjoy pizza, salad, and treats! After a long week, there's nothing better than snuggling up together in the living room to enjoy a little family time and share a few belly laughs, too!

The new home entertainment edition contains more than 60 minutes of bonus content, including three mini-movies: “Dog Days of Winter” starring the Grinch and his heroically loyal dog Max; and “Yellow is the New Black” and “Santa’s Little Helpers,” both starring the lovable Minions. Narrated by Grammy Award®winner and Oscar® nominee Pharrell Williams, Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch stars Academy Award® nominee Benedict Cumberbatch (Dr. Strange, “Sherlock”) as the infamous Grinch, who lives a solitary life inside a cave on Mt. Crumpit with only his loyal dog, Max, for company. The incredible voice cast includes Rashida Jones (“Parks and Recreation,” The Muppets) as Donna Who, Kenan Thompson (“Saturday Night Live”) as Bricklebaum, Cameron Seely (The Greatest Showman) as Cindy-Lou Who, and featuring legendary actress Angela Lansbury (Anastasia, Beauty and the Beast) as the mayor of Whoville. We Love The Grinch!

When we first heard about this fabulous retelling of one of our favorite stories, my husband and I were so excited. We love the old tale of How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and we were interested in seeing how Illumination would put this story on the big screen and bring it back to life for a whole new generation of kids.

In line with the animation and storytelling style we love from Illumination, this film is vibrant, colorful, and full of fun. Whoville is depicted in such a delightful manner, it's easy to be hooked on this film from the very start.

The voice cast of The Grinch is fabulous and gives movie-goers reason enough to want to see this. Pharell Williams narrates the film, an does an incredible job. So many other favorite actors of our lend their voices to the characters of this film, making it oodles of fun for the whole family.

Both of my kids, ages 8 & 2 love The Grinch. We've watched it many times already in a short amount of time, and are so happy to have this movie as part of our home movie collection.

The bonus for us is that this collection features a slew of mini-movies, which feature Max, and of course, our favorite little yellow guys... the Minions!
