Tastykake: A Tasty Holiday Treat for the Whole Family! + Tastykake Holiday #Giveaway

When I was growing up, my dad sort of had a thing for certain types of snack cakes and snack foods. He came by it completely honestly. Growing up in a big Italian family, whenever anyone came over, we always had cakes, cookies, pies, and treats to put out and offer our guests with coffee or wine- sometimes all of the above. It's just the Italian way. We were no strangers to delicious bakery treats, and favorite packaged treats, like Tastykake mini cakes, cupcakes, and more!

After we moved to NC from NJ in 1992, my dad was excited to find Tastykake varieties in the south. It sort of felt like a piece of home had come with us. I always think of my dad when I find Tastykake treats in the grocery store, and every now and then, I can't help but scoop a few up and take them home for my family to enjoy.

Tastykake got its start in 1914! You know as well as I do that a company that has been around for over 100 years certainly knows what it's doing, and knows a thing or two about providing delicious baked goods to the masses. This holiday season, we're delighted to share about a few of Tastykake's Winter Edition treats and flavors!

Tastykake Maple Sweet Rolls

Tastykake Sweet Rolls are a family favorite, and definitely a classic from this iconic brand. I sort of have a soft spot for sweet rolls, as my husband is a huge fan of cinnamon rolls. These delicious sweet rolls are special- one of the winter edition flavors of sweet rolls, and they are packed with a sweet maple flavor that you will love, love, love! They're well packaged and taste super fresh- like they were just baked! Here's a hint... I like to pop these onto a plate and warm in the microwave on medium power for about 15 seconds. The sweet rolls become warm and gooey, and are super delicious with a cup of coffee!

Tastykake Cupkakes!

Another family favorite and Tastykake classic- the Tastykake Cupkakes! My son and I have been gobbling these right up! They're the perfect anytime treat! I love that they're big enough to make you feel satisfied, but not so big that you feel like you can't eat your next meal. They pack a ton of chocolate on chocolate flavor (my personal favorite). The individually wrapped packs contain two cupcakes each- perfect for sharing, or enjoying by yourself! My son loves to find these in his lunch box. Talk about a tasty treat!

Minty Delight!

My husband loves mint, so the Mint Flavored Kandy Kakes and Glazed Chocolate Mint Flavored Mini Pies are his personal favorites! The Kandy Kakes are individually wrapped- 6 packs of 2 cakes, each. They taste like mint chocolate candy cane cakes! I literally had to step away from the box before I ate all of them when I tried these- they're that good! I love pie, and the little mint flavored chocolate mini pies are amazing! Hand pies are fun and convenient. I like to sneak these into my purse and bring them to work for an afternoon treat!

Mini donuts for the win!

We also love mini donuts- especially the kids. Now, the Salted Caramel Mini Donuts are a bit more of a grown-up taste than the kids are used to eating in their donuts. I was surprised, however, to find just how much they loved this winter edition flavor from Tastykake! You can get these salty, and sweet caramel flavored donuts in bags or individual packs! They're great to keep on hand for company, brunch, or to share with friends! We gave a few of these to our mail carriers, and they said they were so super delicious! We couldn't agree more!

These are perfect for sharing this holiday season. I am even stocking up on Tastykake treats to share with family and friends! The maple sweet rolls are perfect for Christmas morning! Just warm them up and set them out for your family to enjoy while opening gifts! I'm also including some of the mini pies and individual packs of mini donuts in stockings this year! Amazing idea for stocking stuffers!
