Who likes being fancy? If you have a little girl, you're probably familiar with all things Fancy Nancy and Disney Princesses. When I found out that I was pregnant with a girl a few years ago, I made up my mind that I wouldn't try to push 'girly' toys or clothes on her. If she wanted to be a tough girl and run with the boys, and play with Ninja Turtles, I'd be cool with it. I'm all for kids being exactly who they were created to be. My girl is, however, very girly by her own accord, and Fancy Nancy and Disney Princesses are a big part of our world right now.

Both of my kiddos love to dress up in costumes, and it's one of those fun things that they can do together, despite their age difference. Even mommy gets in on the dress up fun, sometimes.
