Education Will Be Fun With New Smithsonian Exploration Stations #Review #Giveaway #MBPHGG18

Thank you to Silver Dolphin and Smithsonian for providing me with product to review. All thoughts shared below are my own.

Sometimes children love to learn and get excited when given the opportunity to crack open a book and learn all about the solar system or the world we live in, but other times children need a little extra visual aid to help them gain a better understanding. I was definitely a visual learner and I know I would have LOVED these new exploration stations that the Smithsonian has developed for kids!

Take a trip into the stratosphere with Smithsonian Exploration Station: Solar System!
"With informative text and full-color photographs, young astronomers will learn about the intricate makeup of our solar system as well as distant galaxies and constellations. The 56-page fact book combined with the sticker sheet, space figurines to play with, and the glow-in-the-dark stars make this space experience interactive and engaging." - Amazon

I would have loved an interactive, educational set like this when I was a kid. I loved "hands on" learning and seemed to always learn best with a visual. I think I can safely say that I am a visual learner with a photographic memory. Having sets like these to actually see in object form what is being taught is very helpful for parents and educators.

Sometimes the parent is the educator for those who homeschool and what a neat resource this would be for your homeschool curriculum! The space set retails for around $20 and as are all of the sets, perfect for ages 6 and up.

"Head off on a globetrotting adventure in this interactive atlas! Learn about the diverse cultures, customs, wildlife, and natural beauty that form our world through informative text and full-color photograph. Children will love the hands-on aspect to learning as they blow up their inflatable globe and build the cardstock models of some of the wonders of the world. Smithsonian Exploration Station: World Atlas is the perfect way to engage kids in the amazing world around them!" - Amazon

This set retails for around $14 and has some great hands-on items the kids are sure to love exploring!

Possibly the set I'm most excited about is the Human Body Exploration Station!

"Discover what makes your blood pump and your muscles stretch in this hands-on learning experience! With fascinating facts, full-color photographs, a plastic model skeleton, and 25 fact cards, Smithsonian Exploration Station: Human Body is a fun, engaging way to learn about the inner workings of the complex systems that make the human body." - Amazon

The model skeleton in this set is really going to appeal to young children. Being able to physically see the bones in the body is such a great visual aid for kids! One thing I'm sure of is the more you know, the more you know. Learning leads to more learning and you can never learn enough. This set is around $20.

Do your kids have a zest for learning and a passion for expanding their horizons? If they do, these sets are going to excite them. If they do not, these sets are going to help them become that way. I know we all want our children to learn about the world we live in, our own bodies and the solar system above us.
