Sometimes when you meet a person, you feel a certain warmth and sincerity that is often missed in our day to day interactions. I first met Isabel Monell a couple of years ago when her traveling worship team came to my children's school. There was a group of girls, including her, that needed to be housed for one night and volunteers were asked to offer up their homes and host. There wasn't a moment of hesitation. I was overjoyed to host this group of girls and spend some time in fellowship in my home. Their team was full of artistic, passionate people who traveled across the country to share their talents in acting and music with the unified goal to reach the masses for Jesus Christ. Pretty amazing, isn't it? 

Meet Isabel.

Little did I know at that time, I would end up making lasting friendships with these girls! I just love when God shows up like that in my life. 

Getting to know Isabel is like opening a gigantic treasure chest exploding with creativity and love. Her passion for art began as a young girl. She tells the story of how she loved blank pieces of white paper. To her, this was literally an empty canvas just begging for her personal creation. And so it began. 

I love the personal touch of this note. It set the tone for me to open her beautiful works of art.

Based out of Virginia Beach, Isabel has a home studio where she creates amazing pieces of art day in and day out. She so graciously shared some of her pieces with me so that I can share them with all of you. I just know you will fall in love with her style and imagination, as quickly as I have.
