I have never been a great sleeper. I am so tired at night but always seem to have a hard time getting comfortable in my bed. I spent lots of time during the night tossing and turning and trying to find my 'spot' in the bed. Unfortuntley, so did my husband. This sadly resulted in neither one of us getting much sleep during the night. We just recently moved and our bed was too big to make the turn in our hallway to fit into our new bedroom, so we had been sleeping with our mattress on the floor since December. I was very excited to learn of Brooklyn Bedding and their new Brooklyn Signature Hybrid mattress. I spent some time on their website and read tons of reviews on this mattress that were amazing and made it sound heavenly. After this, I was over the moon excited to get this mattress and check it out. It also forced me to go ahead and purchase a new bed...remember our mattress was on the floor. I can't very well test out this new mattress on the floor, right? The timing ended up being perfect because the mattress arrived the day before the new bed was delivered. It was like Christmas morning for adults in our house.

Aiden and I pulled into our driveway one afternoon and there was a big box on the front porch. I couldn't believe that there was a king size mattress in the box, but it did say Brooklyn Bedding. We had to wait on Chris to get home and help us get the box in the house. It was pretty heavy...and I still couldn't believe that a king size mattress was going to come out of that box.
Aiden wanted to see if there really was a mattress in this box.

Chris and Aiden got to work on unpacking it from the box. Aiden kept telling me I was not going to like it because it was so flat. That was the funniest part of the entire process. He stretched out on the mattress on the floor while it was still sealed air tight and said he didn't know how anyone could sleep on that because it was like laying on the hard ground. Boy, was he in for a surprise! He has sure changed his tune now.

One amazing mattress
As soon as Chris cut the plastic open, the mattress popped right up to full size. The look of surprise on Aiden's face was pretty awesome. I have to admit, that was pretty cool to see the mattress take shape. After that, it was hard to get Aiden off of it. He is determined to get a new mattress for his own bed.

The first time I laid down on the new Brooklyn Signature Hybrid, I knew that it would have to help my sleep. It was so comfortable. I think my favoirte thing about the mattress is how cool it feels. By this I mean that it pulls the heat from your body and keeps you cool. You could feel that just laying on the mattress. It also adjusts to your body with every move. I could not wait to go to bed that first night. I decided to go early and read for a little bit. It was so comfy. I didn't have to keep turning over or moving around to find a comfy position. That first night I sleep better than I have in a long time. I have given up hope that I will ever sleep all night, but I have been sleeping about 3 straight hours. This is huge for me because I usually wake up once an hour. One huge pluse is that I can't feel when Chris moves anymore. I used to feel like I was on a boat with our old mattress when he would turn over. I always told him he was like a fish out of water. I just can't say enough about how wonderful we all think this new mattress from Brooklyn Bedding is. We will defiently be calling on them when it is time to get a new mattress for Aiden's bed.
