I used to pride myself on being very organized. Organization is something that I have always thrived on. I love routines, schedules, and I love, love, love my planners. When a gal pal of mine and I met for coffee last year, I remember gushing over her planner, asking where she got it, rather than asking where her totally cute cardigan came from. I mean, I love fashion, but my life really sort of derails without a good planner (sorry, cardigans!),

I haven't been so great at keeping a planner up to date recently. Last year is a blur, and this year, one of my goals was to take a serious look at how I could best achieve small personal and business goals for 2018. I knew I would need a detailed planner to help me stay on track and reach my goals.

Casey was kind enough to send me a True Path planner, and I have to admit, as organized as I am, I was slightly intimidated by the idea of writing so many ideas and goals down on paper. I started to ask myself, 'Where do I want to be a year from now?' The answer- in a new home, making more money, and accomplishing more work-related goals. Those are big goals- things that I have a strong desire to see happen. So, I took that first small step by cracking my True Path planner open and writing down my goals.

So, my first impression of True Path was how sleek the planner is. It's something that can be used by all- moms, dads, professionals, etc. Honestly, I would love to gift one of these to every adult in my family (if I knew they would seriously use it). From the moment I began reading the info in the True Path planner, I knew this was the planner for me. Not only do I have personal/financial goals I'd like to tackle, but I have a lot of business goals to tackle, and I can do all of that through this planner.

True Path first asks new owners to jot down a few things about their lives- rating their health, sleep habits, relationships, finances, etc. This gives you look at what you might want to/need to work on moving forward.

True Path helps you break down your goals step by step.

The goal breakdown pages are my favorite pages in the entire planner. It helps me break apart each aspect of the individual goals I want to meet. What's my goal? Why am I setting this goal? How do I plan to reach the goal? Where will I make the changes? When will I make the changes? When is my goal line? Where do I see the situation 13 weeks out? What changes do I foresee in one month's time? What can change in a week's time? What change can I make in a day's time? This helps me track the goal and the progress I am making day by day, and week by week.

There are monthly calendar pages where I can jot down appointments, keep track of the family's schedule, or just use it for work- totally up to me. I am choosing to integrate home life and work life so I can see the full scope of what a typical month looks like for my family. The trick on this is not to become overwhelmed by it all.

A Day in the Life...

These pages are a dream come true! They allow me to jot down the things I am most excited about for the day, the things I am thankful for, habit reminders, etc. There are designated areas to jot down daily goals and plans of action. I can even plan out my day hour by hour- incorporating work, family, home & social activities into one easy to follow list. I made sure to write down that I needed to have a little chill time before bed- otherwise, I am working from the moment I wake up to the moment my head hits the pillow, and that's just not healthy.

There are pages filled with wise guidance and helpful reminders throughout the planner. I read 'avoiding distraction' a bunch of times. Social media is my biggest time waster, and I need to be better about staying off of it unless it's for work purposes.

I am so much happier and better organized than I was just a few weeks ago, thanks in part to my True Path Planner!

I don't know where I'll be in 13 weeks, but thanks to True Path, I know where I want to be, and I know how to take the steps necessary to meet my goals. I'm taking things on day at a time. I can go back and glance at big picture goals when I need a little push in the right direction, and by mapping out my day, I am already accomplishing more in a day than I was just two weeks ago. I can't wait to see where I am in 13 weeks!
