As one of the greatest love stories ever told, “Lady and the Tramp” is sure to melt the hearts of generations with its beloved characters, brilliant animation, memorable music and sweet sentiment. The animated treasure tells the story of Lady, a lovingly pampered cocker spaniel, and Tramp, a freewheeling mutt with a heart of gold. Through the Signature Collection edition, viewers can relive the pair’s thrilling adventures, sing along with the film’s unforgettable songs like “Bella Notte,” and swoon over one of the most memorable movie moments of all time—the iconic scene in which Lady and Tramp share a plate of spaghetti and an accidental kiss.

“Lady and the Tramp” is the sixth title to join the Walt Disney Signature Collection, which includes groundbreaking films created or inspired by the imagination and legacy of Walt Disney, featuring timeless stories and characters that have touched generations. The film takes its place alongside “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Pinocchio,” “Bambi” and “The Lion King.”

Baby S wore her 'Little Lady' shirt in honor of watching Lady and the Tramp for the first time.

Our Thoughts

Lady and the Tramp is one of my all-time favorite Disney movies. Aside from The Little Mermaid, and Pinnochio, this is one of the few Disney movies that I can recall watching repeatedly when I was growing up. It's such a classic tale, and I have always been drawn to Lady... such a sweet, prim and proper character, with a big heart and lots of innocence. Lady is a compassionate character, and repeatedly wears her heart on her fur coat- for her family, for the Tramp, and for all of his friends who need a little help of their own.

When I think about classic romance scences from movies, how can I not picture the spaghetti dinner that Lady and the Tramp share outside of Tony's restaurant? We had dinner at Tony's when we went to Disney's Magic Kingdom last summer, and enjoying a meal there made the movie sort of come to life for me- it was so exciting!

I couldn't wait for my kids to see Lady and the Tramp. They were both excited to sit down and watch it, especially Baby S! She was glued to the TV screen the entire way through, and B, of course thought that the Tramp was so cool, and then walked around singing, 'We are Siamese, if you please' for the rest of the day. This is just one of those beloved films that every Disney lover/collector needs to have in their personal movie collection. I love that we can watch via BluRay, DVD, or Digital, which means we can watch it on the go, too!

Don't miss your chance to add this one to your collection!
