Happy Saturday! This week has been a bit of a blur, and I am sure many of you can relate. The girls have been home the entire week, which I love, but they have also been under the weather for much of it, which makes it a little less great. Thankfully, as we are preparing to start 2018 they are feeling better and that means we get to have a few adventures before school starts back up on Tuesday.

D has been asking most of the week to go to our local JOANN store. She wants to make a dress and I'm pretty interested in seeing how she does. R has been asking to go everywhere, including the beach and back to school, so I think just going out will make her happy. It might be a movie and bowling kind of a day, we'll see how things go.

I know I'll definitely have to hit the grocery store at some point today. Between the kids being sick much of the week and the freezing cold temperatures, there was no way I was heading to the grocery store. Now that we are out of a few staple items (and Matt has the day off) I really can't avoid it. I'm just hoping the crowds aren't too bad. Nobody really goes shopping for New Year's Eve, right?
