Stop by Earth Fare Greensboro and Check Out Their New Look + $25.00 Earth Fare Gift Card #Giveaway

This post is sponsored by Earth Fare. All thoughts are my own.

When I think of healthy, fresh foods, I immediately think of Earth Fare as my go-to grocery store. The first time I stepped foot in an Earth Fare store was several years ago in Asheville, NC. I was highly impressed by their extensive line-up of healthy foods.
Established in 1975, Earth Fare has been offering healthy choices to local communities for decades. The Greensboro, NC Earth Fare store has been around for sixteen years, and recently got a bit of a facelift.

To celebrate, Earth Fare Greensboro hosted a Grand Re-Opening event on Saturday, December 2nd. The store opened at 7 am, and there were close to 80 people in line. The store was offering gift card giveaways up to $100.00 in value to the first 50 people in line. Store patrons were also given Earth Fare tote bags and encouraged to sign up for the store's rewards program.

Earth Fare Greensboro's updated produce section is simply stunning.

As I walked through the Earth Fare Greensboro store on Saturday, I was struck by all of the gorgeous colors jumping out at me from the produce section. Everything looked so fresh and beautiful. There was a bountiful selection of fruits and veggies, and everything was so beautifully displayed. This area of the store has updated flooring, and there is now plenty of space for shoppers to meander through the produce section, taking their time as they make their selections.

This is probably the most beautiful selection of avocados I have ever seen!

The Bulk Foods area is also beautiful and offers a wide variety.

My husband accompanied me to the store's grand re-opening, and he spent a lot of time just looking through the bulk foods section. We enjoy baking with different types of flour, and were so pleased to find so many different grains, flours, nuts, granola, and more at Earth Fare.

A new addition to Earth Fare Greensboro- the Bulk Liquid station.

The bulk liquid station in the store allows customers to buy local honey in bulk. This is such a neat thing to be able to do. Shoppers simply grab an empty container and fill it with as much honey as they'd like. My husband and I love purchasing local honey varieties and thought this was really cool.

If you love fresh meats and cheeses for your own enjoyment or for entertaining, you will love the selection available at Earth Fare.

Earth Fare's cheese counter is one of my favorite areas in the store. There are so many delicious cheeses to sample. The staff is so friendly and is happy to make a recommendation based on personal preferences, wine pairings, etc. Earth Fare has an incredible selection of wine and beer, just across from the cheese counter.

A new addition to Earth Fare Greensboro, the 1-2-3 case.

Dinner is as easy as 1-2-3! The store just added this beautiful case filled with packaged fresh seafood which has been frozen or wrapped for you to take home and make a quick, healthy meal. There is plenty of ready to cook fish to choose from, and some of the meal packs have sauce pads right within the packaging to add delicious flavor to your next meal. You can swing by the store on your way home from work and grab a quick meal!

How's this for fresh? Doesn't this fish look beautiful?

The store also has a revamped meat and seafood counter with all kinds of varieties of beautiful fresh meats and seafood. The double shelving allows for more space and more variety from steaks and chicken and pork to fresh sausage and all types of seafood.

Heading down the grocery aisles of Earth Fare, I noticed hundreds of products that were Earth Fare brand products. I was happy to see their own brand all over the store, along with lots of other well known brands. Earth Fare has a lovely selection of appetizers and quick pick up and pop in the oven foods for entertaining this holiday season. Spanakopita, anyone?

Health and Wellness products at your fingertips...

The expanded health and wellness area of the store connects shoppers with hundreds of specialty products.

I spent a lot of time in the health and wellness area of Earth Fare during my store visit. I found some wonderful products which I never even knew existed. I was sure to make note of them and remind myself that I could find them at Earth Fare, rather than having to go on a grand hunt for them. I found wonderful homeopathic wellness products for my kids, including a wax reducer for little ears (which I am so excited to have found).

There's an entire wall dedicated to omegas and probiotics, and there's also a beautiful display of bath salts, body scrubs and freshly cut soaps. Just walking by and smelling those fragrant salts made me want to buy them up for holiday gifts.

Earth Fare also has a wonderful wall of cosmetics, which are animal cruelty-free and also Gluten Free!

The Prepared Foods Section of the Store Got a Revamp, too!

Gorgeous European-style bread is baked fresh daily at Earth Fare.

My husband and I spent a good deal of time checking out the bakery section of the store. Sacha is a bit of a bread connoisseur, so he was all over the bread station. There were 6-7 varieties of freshly baked bread, which had us dreaming of vacationing in Europe. Each crusty, artisanal loaf of bread is kneaded by hand each and every day. We sampled some of the bread in-store, and loved what we tasted, so we bought a loaf to enjoy at home. We also bought a baguette, which was just $0.98! That's a steal for a baguette in most places, though hubby says, 'That's exactly what a fresh loaf of bread should cost. Well done, Earth Fare.'

Looking for a beautiful dessert or pastry for breakfast? Just head to Earth Fare and be ready to be wowed by your choices!

I remember buying my son a chocolate chip cookie from the Earth Fare bakery years ago. We both agreed that it was delicious! Earth Fare's bakery treats are delicious and healthy, as far as baked goods go- they're made with organic ingredients, and are oh, so good! The dessert case is filled with yummies such as tarts, cakes, cupcakes, and more! Looking for treats or pastries? Take your pick from varieties of croissants, muffins, etc. If you're entertaining guests for breakfast or brunch, I would highly suggest picking up some of these baked goods to serve your guests. There's also a large case of all types of cookies!

The hot and cold bars are a big draw at Earth Fare!

The prepared foods area of the store gets a lot of daily traffic. There's a beautiful cold bar, which features fresh salads and toppings. Build your own salad and take home for lunch or dinner. There's also a hot food bar with various foods such as gooey mac and cheese! Build your own custom meal for lunch or dinner- just for yourself or for the whole family. The cold case has sandwiches, salads, and so much more. A new addition to the store is a fresh sushi bar, with beautiful sushi, rolled by hand each day. It's often made to order, and you can watch the chefs roll it before your eyes.

Another new addition to Earth Fare Greensboro is the Heirloom Juice Bar, with fresh smoothies, juices, and organic drip coffee.

Not only can you enjoy peaceful grocery shopping at Earth Fare, you can pop in on your lunch hour and pick up a healthy lunch. There are even tables and chairs in a quiet dining area of the store for you to enjoy your meal. Skip the drive-thru and drive on over to Earth Fare for healthier meal choices.

My treat from Earth Fare- a delicious chocolate croissant!

My hubby and I did do a little shopping while we were at Earth Fare Greensboro. We picked up some gorgeous grass-fed steaks for dinner, as well as fresh bread loaves. We needed an easy breakfast, so we each chose a croissant- I chose the chocolate one, of course! By the way, it was the freshest, flakiest croissant I have ever had! My mouth wanted more, more, more!

As a mom who often frowns upon having to shop for groceries, especially with kids in tow, I actually look forward to taking the kiddos to Earth Fare. There isn't an Earth Fare in my city, but I will gladly drive out of town for a better shopping experience with wonderful prices, and healthier, fresher food options. Plus, I love the 'Live Longer with Earth Fare' initiative, which encourages people to make simple changes in what they're eating, and to some of the products they're using every day, and adding onto their life expectancy.

Earth Fare Greensboro had a fabulous Grand Re-opening with music, free samples and demos in-store throughout the day. I noticed lots of happy customers, and was so impressed by the Earth Fare staff. They were so friendly, ready to help, and just all around happy to be there.
