Avoid Stress While Taking Their Temperature With Exergen Temperal Scanner #Giveaway #MBPHGG17

Thank you to Exergen for providing me with product in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts and opinions expressed below are my own.

I am extremely fortunate that my daughters don't get sick often, but after a fun day playing with her cousins, N was not feeling herself. Every parent knows the heart-sinking feeling you get when your kid tells you they don't feel good. The last thing you want to do is bother them with a scary looking thermometer or put them in an uncomfortable position.

Exergen Corporation
From equipping NASA with temperature scanners to your home medicine cabinet- Exergen Corporation is the recognized world leader in temperature technology. Exergen creates non-invasive thermometers at lower cost, with higher accuracy, and greater reliability.

N has become extremely sensitive about home medical care, (the drama that comes with washing a booboo is worse then the actual cut!). It's also impossible to get her to stay still. Our ear thermometer scares her, and getting an accurate read with one that goes under her tongue is near impossible. The Exergen Temperal Artery Thermometer intrigued me- was it really as non-invasive as it claimed?

Gentle enough to use without waking

How do you use it?

Using the TemperalScanner is incredibly simple!
1. Press and hold the button
2. Lightly scan across forehead
3. Release button, read temperature

The Temporal Artery Thermometer's sleek and smooth design is unintimidating, my four year old was able to relax while I got a fast temperature read.

Normal temperature- what a relief!

Why the temporal artery?

The TemperalScanner measures the temperature of the carotid artery, which is directly connected to and has the same temperature of the blood flowing from the heart. Temporal artery temperature changes faster than other areas of the body, and is less likely to be affected by eating, drinking, coughing and other sudden movements.

  1. This would have come in handy when my venues were sick. It is difficult to get a good read on traditional thermometers
