I worked with Carpet One Floor & Home last October during their Welcome a Cure campaign.  I love the gorgeous mats that are created for this wonderful cause.  The mat that I reviewed last year is still the mat that is at my front door and I love it.  I was very excited when I was contacted by Carpet One Floor & Home again this year and asked to participate in this yearly event.  I love to work with anything having to do with Breast Cancer Research and am proud to be involved with this.  You will want to join in this as well!

Each year, Carpet One Floor & Home offers a new collection of mats that help raise awareness and funds for Breast Cancer Research.  I was excited to see the beautiful selections this year because I remembered the ones from last year just blew me away.  I knew as soon as I saw the Snowman mat that I would love that one.  I always decorate with snowmen after the Christmas decorations come down and the snowmen stay up until March.  This cute mat will look wonderful at my front door throughout the winter months.

Pink Ribbon Welcome A Cure welcome mats, support breast cancer research. For each $24.99 ($34.99 CDN) mat sold, 25 percent of the proceeds directly support the five-star rated Breast Cancer Research Fund. To date, the company has raised almost $1 million from mat sales.

The 2017 pink ribbon mat collection features 18 designs, (check them out) including interior design experts Melissa Davis and Lisa Mende, who pull from their personal experience to create dramatic, impactful mats that fit any home decor. In addition, graphic design artist Justin Niederkorn, a senior designer for an international non-profit agency, tapped his artistic talent and love for the women in his life, to create a mat that graphically tells the important story of a breast exam. Mikayla Chandler, a Savannah College of Art & Design advertising and illustration sophomore, created a powerful image of lines that seem almost inter-connected, and resemble the shape of a breast, swoop of a cup and wisps of hair. The two graphic designers have created edgy and thought-provoking artwork that add to the fashionable and functional collection.
