There's been a change in the air, and let me tell you- it's a much-welcomed change! Fall has been around for a few weeks, but it hasn't been until just a few days ago that it has actually felt like fall in NC. My fall wardrobe really needed a reboot after two seasons of wearing maternity and nursing clothing. When I went back to my old clothes, I sort of felt disappointed and was left longing for some new fall looks.

In the past few years, I have experienced what I can only describe as a style crisis. I've always thought of myself as a fashionable person for most of my adult life. In fact, I love fashion and have always had fun creating cute outfits. When I turned 30, however, I suddenly found myself at a crossroad. I was no longer in my twenties and had also become a mother, so I felt like I needed to dress a bit more modestly, while still being fashionable.

Boutique shopping is a favorite way for me to pass the time, but lately, my time is sparse. To head to a brick and mortar store would mean having to drag two cranky kids along with me. The Mint Julep Boutique makes it easy for me to find gorgeous styles when it's convenient for me to shop- right from my laptop or phone.
I had a lot of fun browsing new looks for fall and fell in love with several tops, tunics, and dresses. One of the tops that called out to me was the Fun for Sport top in olive. I love black and white striped tops, and this top combines my favorite look with one of my other favorite colors- olive green, I have green eyes, so it's only natural that I love to wear this shade of green.

I've already worn the Fun for Spor top several times, and I just love it. It's fitted through the arms, but flowy through the sides and bottom. It wears like a tunic, though it's not quite as long as most of the tunics I own. I have worn it with both skinny jeans and leggings, and have loved both looks.

To create a cute and simple look with the Fun for Sport Top in Olive, I paired it with black leggings and my favorite cognac boots. The combination of colors screams fall, and the look is comfy, yet chic. It's perfect for a casual day with the family and very comfortable to wear while trying to keep up with my two cuties!
