Do you ever feel like you live in your car? Okay, maybe you don't feel like you actually live in your car, but you're on the go so much that it seems like you spend the majority of your time there. I feel like I'm in and out of my car all day long- from school drop off/pick up to running errands and everything in between, I spend a lot of time in my car. With two kids, it can sometimes be difficult to keep the car organized- especially the trunk. Depending on the day, I am usually carting everything from backpacks and lunch boxes to sports equipment, groceries, and music. The trunk can go from clean to a disaster zone in a matter of minutes! I've been in search of something to help me keep the trunk organized and decluttered, and I have finally found the perfect organizer!

I've been trying out the new Tailgate Carrier from Meori, and I couldn't be more thrilled to have this handy helper in my life. The name meori marries two Japanese words, "meian' for great idea and 'origami'. Roughly translated meori means ‘the fantastic idea of folding'.

I've been pretty amazed by this product. For years, I have been looking for ways to keep all of the items that wind up in our car trunks organized. We're also avid ALDI shoppers, and if you shop at ALDI, you know that to cut down on the cost of the groceries, you need to bring your own shopping bags. I do keep tons of reusable shopping bags in the car, and this is a great way to keep them organized. What's even better, is that I can fold the Meori Tailgate Carrier flat, bring it into the grocery store with me, and then just load my groceries directly into the Meori Tailgate Carrier, and carry it straight from the car into the house once I'm back home. The insulated cooler bag can be used inside of the Tailgate Carrier, or all on its own. Just grab it by the handle for easy carrying. We'll be involved in our very first Trunk or Treat in a few weeks, and I am looking forward to using the Tailgate Carrier to organize our treats and goodies! The insulated bag will be a great way for us to keep some cold beverages on hand, like water bottles. It sure does stay hot in NC through October.

Leave the Tailgate Carrier in your car, so you'll always have it handy when you need it!

Right now, I am using one side of the Tailgate Carrier to hold my grocery bags. The other side is open for cold items that I need to bring home from the grocery store- this is super helpful when we make a 30-minute trip to shop at the nearest Trader Joe's! I am seriously thinking about purchasing one of these for my parents for Christmas this year. They shop like I do, and when we go to TJ's we load up on wine. This is the perfect way to store wine bottles on your way home from the store, to keep them from rolling all over the place.
