Round Up the Fashion Troops: Legging Army is More than Just Leggings + Legging Army Shorts #Giveaway

It's springtime, but in North Carolina, it's feeling more like summertime already. When the weather turns hot and humid, I am ready to ditch my jeggings and get comfy in a skirt or pair of shorts. I'm a mom to a six-year-old boy, and a 13-month-old girl. They're both incredibly active, which keeps me on my toes non-stop. I need to be able to keep up with them, and I still want to look great while doing so. Shorts and maxi skirts are my summer go-tos, because they provide comfort, and they allow me to move easily. I am always on the hunt for cool designs in shorts and skirts, so imagine my delight when I learned about Legging Army and their awesome selection of not only leggings, but skirts and shorts, too!

I chose a skirt, because to me, a skirt is pretty versatile, and I never know where I will wind up during the day.

So the skirt is full length, a maxi style, with a fold over waist. It's stretchy. and one size fits sizes 3-14. I love that it's friendly with the sizing... that means that there are no guessing games with this one. I am 5'5 1/2", and am wearing a wedge with this skirt. If I wore flat sandals, the skirt would hit my feet. You can adjust the length by folding over more of the waistband, or not folding it at all, if you need the skirt to be longer.

The way I styled the skirt above, was by pairing it with a simple black tank top, and black and tan wedges. My husband really liked this look. He said it was casual, yet dressy, and it looked like it was an easy look for anyone to pull off. I added gold earrings and a pink tassel necklace to complete the look and play off the colors in the pattern of the skirt.

Look #2- can you spot the difference?

My husband asked, 'So, what's different,' as I asked him to take the second photo. I tucked the tank into the skirt for a different look. Granted, the tank is a little too big on me, this gives the appearance of a maxi dress. I love both looks. Which one is your favorite?

Why I love this skirt...

It's so comfortable. I am not joking here, it's now the most comfortable skirt I own, thanks to Cindy! It feels like butter against my skin. I happily wore the skirt all day, and secretly wished that I could have slept in it- that's how comfy this is! Legging Army needs to make pajamas, too! The skirt is long, and it moves with me. I have some maxi skirts that are so clingy, I can barely move my legs in them. That doesn't work very well when you're trying to chase a toddler. I love the design/print. Legging Army has so many beautiful prints on their leggings, skirts, and shorts! You'll love them!
