After the birth of Baby S, I have been struggling a lot with losing the baby weight. I gained about 50 lbs during my pregnancy, and it's been slow-going with the weight loss. I have felt uncomfortable in my own skin for months, and have just longed to get back into some of my old clothes, or to find some pieces that will work for me during this time of transition. I really love boutique style clothing, but find that it can be hard to wear some of those pieces unless I am at a lower weight. Why can't boutiques make clothing that fits and flatters all body types?

Carrie sent me some beautiful LuLaRoe pieces, and a really sweet note with style tips! I couldn't wait to wear the pieces as soon as I laid eyes on them... I knew they were going to be oh, so comfortable! Carrie sent me a pair of buttery soft one size LLR Leggings, and Irma top, and a baseball tee. By touching all of these pieces, I knew that I was touching quality material that was going to hold up against my crazy kids (how I love them).

Someone once told me that I should wear red more often... I think they're right. This isn't a color that I would have picked for myself, but I am so glad that Carrie decided to help me be bold, by sending me these lovely LuLaRoe Leggings! The leggings are one size, and are like second skin. I love that they sort of help to hold everything in, and they feel amazing. Carrie told me that they call them buttery soft leggings, because they are buttery... and they are! My son felt the leggings and said that we wanted to sleep on them, because they are just that soft!

I love the way the leggings fit, feel, and look. I was so comfortable in these leggings (and I have tried lots of leggings!), and could see them going from a day at church to a Pilates work out... they're multi-purpose, and wonderful! They come in a variety of designs, and colors- you'll never run out of options with a pair of LuLaRoe Leggings. I definitely need more of these in my life!

ADULT LEGGINGS

Our leggings are ultra stretchy and super soft. They’re as close to your own skin as you can get with all the perks of, ahem, not being naked. You can sport them at your favorite Pilates class or throw on some cute booties and wear them out for a girls night! Your LuLaRoe leggings will be a great statement piece wherever you are!

When it comes to prints, I am pretty simple. I don't like to stray too far away from the classics. Carrie really helped me to go a bit outside of my comfort zone with the fabulous Irma tunic she sent to me. I love the gorgeous flower design against the blue background. The colors are just beautiful, and perfect for fall! The Irma is so comfy! It has 1/2 length sleeves, and the top is loose and flowy throughout. I was semi- apprehensive about wearing my LLR Leggings with the Irma top, and nothing else... I wondered if the outfit would be too revealing? My hubby assured me that it looked great, and to go ahead and go for it as far as wearing it as a combo went.

Here's my LuLaRoe look!

I love this outfit so much and cannot wait to wear it again. I actually wore it to church, and received so, so many compliments on it. I paired the Irma and LLR Leggings with my Kenneth Cole Flats, Lia Sophia Necklace, and Oscar de le Renta Sunglasses for a complete look. This was perfect for a mild fall day- it was just the right amount of bold for my conservative self. The Irma that I have on is an XXS... I might go up to the XS next time, just for the added length.

I love the Irma tunic so much- I can't wait to purchase another one! Every gal needs a few Irmas in her life... and lots of leggings, too!

IRMA TUNIC

LuLaRoe’s Irma top is a loose, knit “high-low” tunic with fitted mid-length sleeves. The extra length in the back makes it a great compliment to our leggings – especially for all those wanting some extra coverage for their, ahem, assets. Wear this top and you might never take it off.

The other piece that Carrie sent to me was the Randy tee, which I truly love! It's a comfy baseball style tee, available in tons of colors and prints. It's about as soft as the leggings, and so comfy! It's great to wear casually, or to pair with one of the LLR skirts (there are lots of pretty ones). I first wore the Randy Tee out trick or treating with my family, I was super comfy in it, and loved wearing it so much, that I wore it again the following weekend when we went to the park. It's a great everyday tee or weekend tee. It's my new go-to top for sporty events, running errands, or just hanging out! I'm gonna need another one of these great tees!
